Summary

Summary
Harry has been on the run since his seventeenth birthday...He is now almost twenty and the war is still waging between him and The Dark Lord. Ron is gone, lost to him when they were escaping Malfoy Manor. Remus, Tonks, and Fred, all lost as well during the Battle at Hogsmeade. He has lost too many people. And he cannot bear to lose anymore. He must keep Teddy and the others safe.
Voldemort finally finds them. But when it looks hopeless, when it seems as if everything is lost, something within Harry shatters and all he can do is scream. So, he does. He screams until his throat is raw and he passes out from the pain of it all.
His scream has unexpected results. His scream calls others to him. People, Creatures that rally behind him to keep him safe. To help him finish this war so that he can maybe finally move on with his life and find some peace and happiness.

Summary
Eliot's their hitter, and taking on any physical threats to the team is his job, but there's something beyond professionalism – even beyond the obvious fact that Eliot relishes the fight itself – in the way he puts his body between Parker or Alec and any potential threat. Alec has a good view of Eliot's back on a lot of jobs, and he reads something in the tight line of Eliot's shoulder, in the slow turn of his foot as he steps into a fighting stance.

Summary
Parker had a theory, and her theory was this: it made Eliot really happy when they noticed the things he did for them. It made Eliot happy when they made sure he knew they noticed the things he did for them. And when Eliot thought they didn't notice, it made him- not unhappy, but something worse, something like he knew that was all he could expect from anyone and he'd resigned himself to it a while back. Once she'd noticed it, she couldn't stop, and the realization of how often they took Eliot for granted made her stomach twist uncomfortably.

Summary
Hitters always came with an expiration date, anyway. At some point Eliot’s scarred, beat-up body would give out, and it would be for them, and that would be love. Or at least the best approximation he could give.
