Someone suddenly slides into the booth across from Gin, and they whip around to glare at them. It’s a girl around Gin’s age. She has long black hair and is wearing sunglasses inside like a pretentious idiot. That’s some Kajii type shit.
There’s something about her that looks so familiar, though. It’s hard to place, but Gin knows they’ve seen this girl before.
When Gin doesn’t reply, she giggles, pushing her sunglasses up to rest on the top of her head. “Or do you only come here when you’re spying on someone’s date?”

Summary
Tetsutetsu looks around the room and notices a lack of Denki. “Uh, Iida-kun, buddy, I was told that he got hit by a quirk. Plus, he’s not down here with you guys. I don’t know, seems pretty fishy…”
Sero makes a sound similar to a whimper, then they burst into gut-wrenching, rambunctious laughter. The rest of Denki’s class slowly succumb to the laughter until even Iida and Yaoyorozu, of all people, are snickering behind their hands.
Now, Tetsutetsu likes to think he’s a pretty level-headed, reasonable guy, but the laughter is really pissing him off! His boyfriend got hit by a quirk, and even his best bro Eijirou is laughing about it!
“Yeah, it’s not like he’s swimming with sharks or anything,” Shinsou deadpans.

It’s not that he doesn’t want to because he does, but he’s so worried about messing up and upsetting one of the most important people in his life. What if it’s some kind of test and he fails? Yeah, okay, that’s a tad outlandish, but he can’t stop worrying about everything that can go wrong.
“Hey, I’m serious,” Hagakure says gently, as if sensing his distress. She turns around to look at him. “I trust you with my hair more than some random hairdresser.”
“You shouldn’t,” Yuuga says before he can stop himself.
“But I do.”
Yuuga takes a moment to breathe, unwilling to start cutting until his hands have stopped shaking.

He hated being like this, being pulled down by something, not being able to perform to the standard he held himself to in his head. Even disregarding the years his father had spent shaping him to crave nothing but success, he also just felt the unshakeable burden of the level of greatness he had reached. He was the number two pro hero, a monolith in Japan, how could he just…have an off day? How could he struggle with unshakeable fatigue of all things? How could he be bed-bound by the same body he fought villains and rescued civilians with?
It was…dread inducing, really.

Shinsou called him cute. Holy shit, he’s totally going to be screaming about this to his friends later—but for now, he just focuses on Shinsou’s hand, still extended out in front of him. Damn, he’d really like to feel Shinsou’s hand, but that’s obviously not an option right now. Short-circuiting sucks.
Shinsou’s easy grin falls from his face. “Fuck,” he says. “Are you—are you alright? My quirk—I’ve never used it on you before.”
Denki’s friends don’t know he can hear them when he short-circuits. Shinsou’s horrified when he sees it for the first time.
