A weird, most likely alien attack overtakes Gotham. Robin!Jason finds himself caught up in the blast, and he wakes up changed.
It turns out, for better or worse, that he's not the only one affected.
Jason and Tim are alone in the middle of a Gotham in chaos. They have been caught up in a weird Alien explosion that somehow lead to them growing wings and tails among other changes, and are under attack from violent creatures and humans alike. Their mission: make it to a nearby safehouse, and ultimately to Wayne Manor. It won't be an easy trip, but they might just end up getting to know each other along the way.

Summary
Jason tries for a laugh as he glances over at Robin, but it comes out sharp and a little choked. “You got another Robin, B? Don’tcha already have me? Why do you need another one?” Glancing down at himself, he adds, “And… Uh, why do I look like this? Did I fall into mutating acid or… or get bitten by a radioactive bat or somethin’?”
When he looks up, Bruce suddenly looks real pale; there’s white creeping up along his cheeks, rising up the sides of his face.
“Shoot,” Jason says nervously. “I— I was just jokin’ about the bats, really. Don’t tell me that’s really what— what happened. Or was it the magic or whatever, is that what made me look like this?”

Jason gets mentally de-aged, and that ends up being the least of his issues.

No one said it was a good idea to leave an eight year old home alone, unsupervised.
It’s not Tim Drake’s fault he found a weird, sometimes-glowing bracelet! Or that said bracelet seems to have caused him to get weird dreams. Or weird sensations that lead him to vigilantes. Or hearing voices. Honestly, as far as he’s aware, all of these facts are completely unrelated. Correlation does not equal causation, right?
