She was normally the last to wake up anyway, and today was no different. Soft chatter floated upstairs as she exited the bathroom, meaning her favorite people in the world were already downstairs waiting for her. She couldn’t stop the little hop in her step as she excitedly skipped her way to her room, it truly was going to be a perfect day. And a perfect day such as this one meant wearing her favorite ring. But it wasn’t in its usual spot in her jewelry box, or was it normally in her ceramic dish by the door? No, it wasn’t there either.
Oh no, if it wasn’t there, it could only mean one thing.
