Summary
Weeks after the Android Revolution, with tensions between Androids and Humans tense, Hank and Connor are sent to investigate Android bodies that keep turning up.
Dealing with processing feelings, as well as whatever new role he is to play, Connor is eager to help.However with the way Deviants are dropping like flies they quickly realize that it's not an Android hating human behind the killings, it's another Android. Perplexed by this news Connor is all the more ready to find the culprit before tensions rise to high, or before a Human gets hurt.
Gavin Reed was not expecting to be dragged along to help, but after eyewitnesses point their fingers to Connor being behind the murders, he's paired with a disgruntled Hank to try and clear Connor's name, as well as find the actual killer.
They did not expect to find a machine not so unlike Connor behind it.Will this Deviant killing Machine be freed of his programming? Will they succeed in clearing Connor's name? Does Gavin even truly care?

In the aftermath of a peaceful revolution, Detective Gavin Reed has to adjust when it comes to his work relations. The assholish version of Anderson's android gets assigned as his new partner. Not only that, but an assholish android who deems it necessary to not only question Gavin's professionalism but also invades his personal life. Ironically, the deviant may have a better grasp of living than Gavin Reed does.
What is there to say when you realize the machines you mistreated are no more a monster than you are?

The RK900 thought this would be a simple task. Prove his invaluableness to the precinct, solve cases, and move up as quickly as possible. Annoying his partner was just a treat on top of an already perfect plan. But Gavin Reed may be the one mystery Nines can't solve. Especially when it turns out that the detective and the android may have more in common than he initially thought.

After being found at the bottom of CyberLife, RK900 is activated and the first person he sees is Gavin Reed. Unfortunately for the detective, part of RK900's programming is to obey the orders of the first human he laid eyes on and them alone. The only way for Gavin to get rid of his new plastic shadow is for the android to deviate. In the meantime, RK900 joins the DPD as Gavin Reed's partner.

**No previous knowledge of the game/lore/characters has to be known**
Hank took them in after the revolution has ended successfully, and for teenage android models Connor and Nines, this means they get their basic rights, including the one to education.
Being forced to join a school for the first time, they are bullied all while Nines struggles with friends and Connor struggles with his brother's declining mental health.
Nothing seems to get better until Nines discovers that there are far more layers to Gavin than he could have ever predicted; in the end, it might be Nines who has to help his bully before it's too late.

But when Connor's newfound deviancy forces him to confront the inevitable feelings and urges that come with it, there's no more room for professionalism between you. Add to that, you're not exactly immune to his charm, and before you know it, he ends up in your bed.

Nines RK900 has tried every manner of social interaction he knows to make his police partner, Detective Gavin Reed, more amenable towards him. Unfortunately, Gavin Reed is not and never has been a very amenable man. If it wasn't for his resilient optimism and iron will, Nines would have given up months ago, which is what his friends seem to think a sensible android should have done.
However, Nines isn't quite ready to give up yet. There is one last specific manner of social interaction he can still try."You want to do it here," he stated as he walked closer to the human, unimpressed.
Gavin's grin grew wider. "Not posh enough for you, tin can?"
Nines pointed to the side. "There's trash right there."
"Hey, I've done this in worse places before." Gavin gestured to the spot in front of him. "Look, the ground's not even wet."
Nines looked and felt his nose wrinkle in disgust. It wasn't wet, no, but it was dirty regardless.
"Come on, tin can. We're on the clock, remember? Chop chop."
Nines glared at him but Gavin only seemed to enjoy himself more. He had to get this over with. -

Connor couldn't stop the word from escaping his lips. "What?"

However, something changes and Connor finds himself compelled to obey everything Reed tells him to do. With Reed finally getting his petty revenge on Connor for merely existing, Connor tries to make Hank aware of the nightmare he's stuck in. -
