Summary
Izuku was tired. His bones felt heavy and he just wanted to lay down. He wanted the muzzle off his face and wanted the cuffs off his hands. The muzzle on his face rubbed the scars wrong, causing him even more pain. He hated the way his feet felt. His claws had been filed down to the quick to make it fair for the others. Izuku’s jaw hurt and all he could taste was blood. It wasn’t even his own blood and that's another thing he hated.
He couldn’t remember how he ended up in this place, but it had been years. He knew that. He watched as the watchers got older and some even stopped showing up. His handler was gray now. Not the vibrant red that he had once been. There was a new face in the watchers.
“Tonight's fight to the death!” The Watchers screamed, cutting off the announcer. “The Dragon against our challenger! Avone!” The cage lifted.

Confused and weak, he lay on the cold ground as he tried to comprehend exactly how he had ended up in the middle of a forest, with only small critters as company. His memories were muddled and foggy at best, and the last recollection he had was of Yamada pushing the teenager away, of somebody screaming, and then…nothing.
He had believed that everything would be fine once his previous foster family got sentenced to prison. He had hoped for peace and tranquility with his new family - he should have known that things never go as planned, not as long as Shinsou Hitoshi was involved. Abducted after a villain attack, Hitoshi must survive his sadistic kidnapper's violence for however long time it will take for the police to find him.
Unfortunately, that was easier said than done.

Katsuki groans and opens his eyes only to shut them a second after as the light attacks his senses. There’s a pounding in his head, only getting worse as he opens his eyes again though this time slower.
Looking around he registers the familiar room he’s in. Memories of what happened in the last hours? days? comes flooding back to him. He failed. He failed to save Hitoshi and instead only got him hurt.
His eyes scan the room, landing on a mop of purple hair. He jumps up, ignoring the way his muscles scream at him not to move and rushes over to his friend. Blood stains his face from a cut above his eyebrow.

A bright, wide grin stretches over the bottom of his face, and tight, dark green curls frame his face in its entirety. A phantom trickle of blood drips from the crown of his head, down his face, his neck, and his black gakuran to the shadow-obscured sidewalk in an intermittent dripping and dropping.
His gray sock-covered feet appear as though they don’t make contact with the ground. In his hand, he holds a knife.
“Sorry, Kacchan,” the floating boy speaks.

Even if it was a bit weird that both of them weren't in school and neither said anything to their friends over the weekend. No one was too worried.

Sensing time was short Izuku Midoriya did the only thing he could think of and that was help everyone else escape while he stayed behind.
Years later the commission had confirmed Midoriya dead and Aziawa’s new group of hero students look promising. Little biased considering one of them belonged to him
However when a familiar green steps out of a portal during the USJ attack and the same familiar green was responsible in kidnapping two students Aizawa and Shinso start thinking Midoriya isn’t as dead as he was believed to be.
