And then came the voice.
It wasn't a shout, or even a notable increase in volume. It was simply... the voice. That alpha quality that Alastor deployed like a weapon, that deep resonance that vibrated in the bones and made the body obey before the mind could protest.
"Ask me for what you want," Alastor said, and every syllable was a command etched into Vox's marrow. "Politely. Or I won't consider it."
The effect was immediate.
Vox felt his body go from being taut as a violin string to melting like butter. His shoulders relaxed, his clenched teeth unclenched, and his knees suddenly became very unstable. The alpha command had found its target, had penetrated all his defenses, and his inner omega responded with a submission that was equally shameful and relieving.
Damn it, Vox thought, as his voice softened without his permission. Damn, damn, damn.
"Please," he said, and his tone was so low, so sweet, so pathetically submissive that he almost didn't recognize himself. "Please, Alastor. Make me a baby."

Summary
Alastor raps one more time, irritated by the delay. His ears twitch as he hears footsteps, and then the deadbolt slides open.
“Sorry, sorry,” Vox says with a laugh, his boxy screen is flushed, and he’s panting. Alastor delicately leans in and scents the air, but there’s no deepening sweetness to the omega’s scent. Good. Alastor means to talk to Vox about his heat, but it’s still too early. He means to do this properly, and as soon as he manages to slip his leash with Rosie, he can. “Shoky was just playing, and he wouldn’t let go!” Vox coos at the damn creature while he holds up a ruined shirt sleeve.
Truly, Alastor does not understand the charm, but he bites back a growl at the wide, soft look Vox is sparing for the stupid shark. He reaches out and grabs Vox’s hand, twirling him into an easy spin and then moving to catch him when he stumbles. His inner alpha lets out a pleased rumble when Vox’s hands land on his chest as he steadies himself. Alastor doesn’t waste the distraction as he discreetly scents the back of the omega’s neck.

Vox leaned forward, grabbing the note off the desk to read it one more time.
'Let's talk, old pal.'
Vox glanced up at his monitors. A few of them had Alastor's glitchy silhouette burned into the pixels. One of the monitors shows the distant outline of the Hazbin Hotel sitting at the end of the city.
'You know where to find me.'
Vox clutched the note and shoved it into his pocket, sending off an internal text message to his assistant to bring a car to the front of V Tower as he stormed out of his office.
“Let's try this again.”

It's taken about a century, but he's pleasantly surprised to discover that the rest of the world is finally starting to catch up with his perspective.

Alastor hadn’t thought much of Vincent Whittman, the peppy and enthusiastic meteorologist he had run into at a bar while the younger man had been visiting New Orleans as a part of a crew reporting on a terrible storm that had happened in the state. That was until he saw Vincent again a few years later, looming over him while he was bound.
Getting kidnapped was definitely something Alastor hadn’t expected to happen to him, much less by an erratic man who clearly had a plan for him.
