Summary
Stranded in Gotham, fifteen-year-old Peter Parker is broke, sleep-deprived, and just barely holding it together. By night, he scours scrap to build a machine that might take him home.
He doesn’t want attention—not from the Waynes (who have too many family issues), not from Gotham’s masked shadows. But they’ve noticed him anyway. The kid with too-sharp eyes and questions he won’t answer. The one who takes cash without complaint but won’t accept a ride, a warm meal, or even a name.
Because Peter can handle things himself. He has to. Help always comes with strings, and he’s tangled in enough already. But the truth is clawing its way out—his arrival in Gotham wasn’t an accident. Someone wanted him here.

Hal Jordan is smart, more than he acts like. He also has situational awareness despite some's (cough Batman's cough) disbelief.
Batman is broody, paranoid asshole. Nightwing is an angel sent from above and Red Hood is an infamous crime lord. There's Robin, Red Robin, Black Bat and all the Gotham vigilantes who are supposedly unrelated... so why does Hal keep on catching small gestures that indicate otherwise?
Hal is unsure and confused about his whole situation. Batman is being grumpy and the kids... they're fine, right? And Hal's fine too, right? Batman wouldn't make him conveniently disappear, would he?

The ground was bare, dirt hard packed with the approaching winter, and dead leaves crunching under foot. A handful of trees lined the edge, naked branches reaching out towards him. Perhaps at one point there had been a forest at their back, but now it could hardly be called a grove. Dick dug the toe of his too-big boots into the dirt trying to picture the strings of light overhead, the big top tent, and the caravans circled around to create their own neighborhood in every city they stopped in.
“Retrace your steps,” Dick said, turning in circles. “Where did you see Dick Grayson last?”
Two years ago, Dick Grayson went missing, but no one was there to notice. Returning to the scene of the crime, he’s determined to get revenge not only for his parents, but also, for himself and every other child who went missing by the same hands that snatched him away. Clark stepped in front of him. “It’s not vandalism and you know it, detective.”
“And what makes you say that?”
“If it were vandalism it would be something a lot more juvenile. To the point. It wouldn’t claim there were seventeen missing kids. That’s public outcry.”
“Is that so?”
“That and I tried to do a story on the growing number of homeless children last month and I got shut down. According to the last count, the numbers have been decreasing, but there’s been no change in policies, no extra funding to CPS, or shelters, or even an increase in the number of inmates in the juvenile detention center. So where are they going?”
Detective Bruce Wayne may have the highest solve rate in Gotham, but if he wants to solve this case, he’ll need the help of an elusive street kid, and while Dick Grayson always lands on his feet, he usually lands himself right into trouble.

Summary
After finding a dog abandoned by the riverside Sakura calls Kakashi-sensei to help her save him, nevermind the fact that they've barely spoken since Sasuke defected and Naruto left the village to train. When Kakashi-sensei decides to adopt the dog, Sakura asks if she can visit him sometimes, and restarts a tentative friendship between her and her ex-sensei.
Team 7 is over, Sakura hasn't seen her teammates in years, and she was never Kakashi-sensei's favourite anyways. So why isn't he treating her like the annoyance she's always believed she was?

Don't tell her that they got into trouble with Shishitoren on the second day of the school year. That would suck a lot, actually. Especially for Hiragi, the least trouble-seeking one out of the four kings.
"Dude, your stomach flares up like a disco all the time! You sure you can eat that?!" Ume-nii wasn't lying there, and he was genuinely concerned at the suggestion. She rolled her eyes fondly at that. If he would let Hiragi explain, then they'd get the situation easily explained.
