    ash has finally arrived in kalos, the region of beauty, flashing lights, and a disquieting history— and he's bright-eyed and ready to seize the day! he's [dead] serious about winning the league this time, and nothing is gonna stop him. this naturally draws in other people, namely the young inventor clemont (who's totally not someone important at all!), his younger sister Bonnie (who wants too many things to even start, don't even go there—) and new trainer serena (who totally wasn't running away from home or anything!). the group travel their way around the region, meeting new rivals and new strategies, different dreams and the many pathways to get there, a strange phenomena along with a hidden group making themselves known, and maybe even a version of themselves that they can be proud of.

    life, death, and everything in-between. the forest is watching you, a strange aura follows along closely and there's going to be a point where you've gotta choose.
