    "I mean, we can't really trust him, can we?" Bits of what BigB's saying are slipping through the cracks. Whatever he's talking about, probably Ren, he sounds paranoid. They wonder, if she were to look into his brain right now, if it would sound the same as hers.
    She's almost successfully faded him out, but she does catch a, "I mean, the woods? Maybe the mobs would take us in! Who knows?", and they let herself smile at that. They can't respond with words, though, because if they open her mouth here and now, they would throw up.

    They're alone. BigB could easily knock her off, right now. Both of them are isolated. It's the easy way out, he knows, and the Voices seem to agree.
    His sword hangs heavy by his side. His hand moves to grip its hilt. He opens his mouth, maybe to say “I'm sorry, Cleo,” or “I'm also the Boogeyman,” or “Can I stay, even after all this? Will you let me?”
    What comes out instead is “You’re a good ally, Cleo. Thanks for that,” because he's a coward who can't take the chances he's been given, and he always has been one.

    bigb doesn't kill cleo. this is the fallout.

    The more Etho thought about it, the more he realized what was really going on.

    Everybody on the ship didn’t inexplicably trust each other to not be imposters, everybody was imposters.

    They just knew that they were on the same team, so there was no threat to be feared.

    Which made Etho the only crewmate.

    The newest one, in a position on a ship that barely anybody had heard about, never mind thought about.

    He was going to die.

    The fact was suddenly becoming all too real, and all too clear.

    Aka:

    Etho is a crewmate who newly joined the spaceship Hermitcraft. Things are going well, until he realizes that Bdubs, as well as the rest of the crew are imposters, and he is the only crewmate. Surely this means he is going to die and get eaten, because what other explanation could there possibly be?

    fWhip must be sick - very, very sick - because there is absolutely no other reason why he would be attracted to Jimmy of all people.

    Plus, there's a million practical reasons why fWhip shouldn't be attracted to him, including (but not limited to) the fact that Jimmy is a freaking fish and Scott would definitely murder fWhip if he knew about fWhip's stupid, little crush.

    So, yeah. fWhip really needs to get over these dumb feelings he has for Jimmy.

     

    It turns out to be way harder than he thinks.
