It overshadows the final time she fell to the floor.
(Or, a few years after the series’s end, Jun reflects on his times with Shinku in an alternative universe where the game went as any other—aka Shinku loses and therefore no end to the fight to become Alice—and the dolls wait for another round of Alice. Any work from then on is borrowed from Doc Scratch's, and of that, she is timed on how long it takes her to either read or take notes, until she has at least read half of a book per Nubday.
How lucky, then, her descendant from a previous world slumbering in her recuperacoon is, to possess short stories and novels and biographies of both niches and general, a rainbow paraphernalia all for her pleasure.

Koharu nodded and held onto her transformation device, still confused at how she was able to both meet a talking animal, meet a woman so beautiful yet seemingly so decaying, transform into…this, and defeat her, and most of all, on how she was going to fit this with her upcoming practices for the big play.

4/4/22: In the summer of 2019, I did a challenge on FF.net where I would make a fanfic a day from June 20th to August 31st. I am happy to say that this is a challenge I managed to complete without being in danger of missing a single day. I uploaded some of the fics on AO3 back when I was still doing the challenge, and some of the rest I've been uploading onto AO3 in the following years. Since for the past few days I've been uploading some of them on here as well as because of how many I did (72, wow!), I've decided to make it its own series.
