Summary
He's tempted to outright ask them about it when he sees them later, but that brings him around to the second problem of the day. He's late, and there is nothing he's going to do to fix it. For the past eight or so hours, his roommate has been a living weighted blanket for him, and fighting off the urge to fall back asleep is an uphill battle.
Luffy's nose is pressed firmly into Law's neck, each exhale soft and steady. One of his hands is between Law's head and the arm of the couch, keeping the uncomfortable stiffness from bothering Law, and the other has a loose grip on Law's tank top, right above his waist. Their legs and the blanket are so tangled that Law's sleepy mind can't fathom what's going where, so he doesn't bother to try. All he needs to do is keep his own arms around Luffy to keep him from rolling off the couch, and to hope his friends will take a rain check on their meeting.
It's unfortunate that he is only in control of one of those two tasks.
3+1, three times Law and Luffy have to argue that they aren't dating to their friends and family, and the one time they realize they are.

Summary
The captain of the Straw Hats is familiar because they share the same markings across their faces, and it was never in Law's plan to find his soulmate.
So Law pretended he didn't. He was only looking because he's curious, that's all. Looking for Stawhat-ya—always Mugiwara-ya, never Luffy—had nothing to do with the way that colorful flowers had been exploding across Law's skin like violent supernovas for days. He told himself it wouldn't bother him as much if he wasn't one of the unlucky few who could feel them forming, but Law's never been good at lying to himself. They itch like healing scabs, and it took most of Law's self restraint not to scratch when new ones appeared beneath his hoodie. He didn't have the self restraint to keep from using his devil fruit to open his chest cavity and watch them form inside him, a beautiful mockery of the pain Mugiwara-ya must be feeling.
And yet, despite the volume of them, not once did they show signs of withering.

Within a few minutes, both of them are ruffling through the dresser, opting for the unusual choice of thick socks first to keep the cold of the floor from seeping through to their skin. Shanks is quick to wiggle his working arm into his red button up, letting the backside hang until Beck finishes dressing himself. A black sock with rows of green Christmas trees and red bows on presents is slid across the amputated nub of Shank's left arm, and as soon as Beck helps him get the sleeve over it, Beck rolls the cuff up until the sock is visible. His lips graze across it so gently that Shanks can barely feel it, but he returns the soft kiss with one to Beck's temple—It's their silent "thank you" and "you're welcome."
Shanks and Beck have a busy day ahead of them to keep up with the party ideas that their four college kids have given them. Shanks thinks there should have been more mistletoe involved, and he takes things into his own hands.
Shanks/Beckmann focused, no other ships explicitly mentioned.

This is going to be a series of me building Luffy's family by choice up from scratch and then ripping it away from him until he learns certain people aren't as dead as he was led to believe. This is an angst series. I do plan on making a happier ASUL sibling au as well(because ASUL(ASL + Uta) deserve a massive and loving family for fucks sake), but that is NOT this series. Summary
This is on indefinite, but probably permanant, hiatus. I'm not as interested in the Fairy Tail fandom as I used to be, and I'll likely never return to it.
SUN is the orginal Oneshot version of Phenomenon, and serves as a very loose outline of the multichapter series that I might finish sometime before I'm dead. It is also a very lose outline and does not detail much of what Natsu and Gray will go though over the three years in the nightmare world they ended up in. There are still many major spoilers.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO READ SUN FIRST. DO NOT READ IT UNLESS YOU WANT SPOILERS
SUN is also from 2018 and does not reflect my current level of writing. Phenomenon's first two chapters may be edited sometime in the future to better reflect my current level of writing as well.

If Law’s face wasn’t red before, it sure was then, and if his heart hadn’t exploded in Luffy’s hands already, he was sure it would. A slow, dry gulp wriggled its way down the doctor’s throat, the lump in his esophagus brushing gently along the back of Luffy’s knuckles as it traveled downwards, his tongue licking across the inside of his cheeks as he scrounged up enough courage to speak one simple command.

Not from a fandom I'm in, but it's a friends fic, which is why I read it in the first place. I've had it bookmarked for awhile and I'm making it a public bookmark now (I'll eventually do this with my One Piece bookmarks lmao).
This has become one of my top fics of all time, completely unironically. The existantial horror is tasty.
I DON'T CARE IF IT'S NOT YOUR FANDOM, YOU SHOULD READ THIS. I laughed and cried over this fic. There are 33 trivia pieces to spot, so if you love the trivia stuff I put in my fics, you'd love Minty's stuff too. 10000/10 I fully recommend. <3
