He'd just started thinking about how to escape when the sound of flapping wings drew his attention. Abolish prepared himself, grabbing for his stake. His heart sank when he realized it had been shattered to smithereens in the fall and wouldn't be effective anymore.
A bluish-grey bat swooped overhead, and Abolish's eyes widened when its entire right side slammed into the silver. A loud shriek pierced his ears as the little thing tumbled down into the pit, bringing with it the faint scent of burning fur.
Abolish hesitated. On one hand... that was a thousand percent Scott. There was not chance in the world this bat wasn't the elder vampire. But... the hunter bit his lip to keep from crying out as he leaned forward and picked it up in one hand.
Or:
Abolish fell into the Crypt pit trap and due to some infuriatingly placed silver, Scott does too (but in bat form bc that’s cute).

Summary
Scott was not made for field work.
Scott was made to lounge about, be served everything to him, and do minimal labor.
But life, it turns out, has other plans for Scott Goldsmith.
After the loss of his parents at a young age, and a great mistake that haunts his mind and memories, he ends up turning into a vampire and joining a coven at age 16.
And well, if you're going to be part of a coven, you need to do work.

Summary
Almost two centuries after the events of Vampires SMP, the surviving vampires gather in Oakhurst to mourn and commemorate their fallen friends. Joining them are five humans who are eerily familiar--including one who kickstarts the beacons and locks them all in again.
Can the newcomers trust these people who are intertwined in their returning memories and who seem overly invested in their lives? Can the vampires escape Oakhurst without losing anyone else? And what the hell happened to Avid?

Tango followed his gaze, flame pitching a bit higher before settling back down to normal. “He has robes on, Xisuma, and he’s covered in purple. He’s one of them.”
“Look how little he is. He’s so skinny, and he’s shaking. He can’t possibly be here of his own volition.”
“Xisuma, you’re talking about bringing one of them onto Hermitc—”

Summary
Owen isn't an idiot. He knows that if Scott finds out he's basically a newborn in vampire terms, he's going to take the easy meal and kill him. So, he lied-said he had been alive 200 years instead of in a state of unconciousness for 200 years. Hopefully Scott buys it.
Scott knows Owen is full of bullshit. No Sire would let a fledgling that young out of their sight at 200 years old, let alone out here. He thinks he's roughly 300, and is lying to make himself look like less of a threat.
Scott and Owen have a truce-they both stay out of each other's business and don't kill any humans. But for some reason, Owen is so, so hungry. And animal blood isn't cutting it.
Scott, on the other hand, is a little concerned at how bad at vampirism Owen is.

After everything went to black, Clover asked themselfs if this was how death was. If they had anyone to wonder.
It was too dark to see, too silent to hear, too empty to even think about it. A little more and they could feel the cold, hard glass of the container they're inside, trapped for who knows how long. It could be hours, it could be days, or it could be centuries.
It feels like centuries, until it doesn't.
And a dark, misterious ceiling with a light too bright welcomes them. It's not a warm welcome.

Clover stepped back, trembling. Was this it? or was it another ruse? Ceroba got back up twice before, who's to say she won't get up again?
Tears threatened to fall out of Clover's eyes as they continued to stare blankly at the monster in front of them. They were in so much pain. Their soul was barely holding itself together and every second they were fighting to not collapse onto the ground and give up.
They can't do this again.
"I swore-"
Clover whipped around and ran before Ceroba could get another word out.
Or: After one too many deaths, Clover flees upon knocking Ceroba down and shattering Kanako's mask. Contemplating their options and sick of dying, they run to the Steamworks.
