Summary
A blind man and a mute man meet in a church. Somehow, they make the friendship work.
Jason's ultimatum ends in the way he least expected it: with a batarang to the neck courtesy of Batman, and his murderer laughing as he bled out. Even though he survived, the damage was done. Mute, he decided to take his leave and wound up in Hell's Kitchen, New York.
Enter Matt Murdock; blind lawyer by day and the vigilante known as Daredevil by night. Some would say his desire to help others would be what would get him killed one day, and his track record did back up that sentiment. However, that doesn't stop him from befriending a broken but kindred spirit.

OR: After the batarang sliced Jason's neck, he decided to fake his death with the help of Talia. The best person to pin the blame on? The very same person that threw the batarang. It was about time someone brought down Bruce's kingdom, after all.
