Summary
This is the collection of my written (short-)stories for the Qvember 2025. Yay!
There is whole lot of hurt/comfort, found family and team as family, but i also tried to go outside of my comfort zone as a writer. So i also tried my hand at romance and smut, as well as more violent themes. Although the last one only in one story.
As i know that that is not for everyone, i marked the slash chapters already in the chapter titles. More detailed trigger warnings, if needed, will be in the chapter notes before the respective chapters.
That way you all can read safely what you like and easily skip what you dont. :)

The clamour from a few seconds ago had come to an abrupt halt. A brutal silence settled over them, broken only by a quiet, “Shit.” Blinking a few times to steady himself and grasp reality, River looked down. “You … you shot me!” he gasped.

When his phone rang loud in the stillness, waking Jack from the sleep of the dead he'd perfected in war zones half a world away, he sat straight up in bed and knew: something was wrong.
His phone announced it was Dana—and it was 0721—which shot a little thrum of worry through him as he answered. "What happened?" he asked, no preamble. She wouldn't wake him if shit hadn't gone sideways.
"Robby hasn't come in yet and he's not answering his phone," she said, voice grim. "He's never missed a shift without calling." She spoke quietly, probably standing in the middle of the ED, trying to keep up a brave face for everyone else. As much as she could, anyway. People tended to notice when the fucking chief attending didn't show up to work.

“Robby? Hey, everything okay, brother?”
Robby shakes his head, then realised that's not something Jack can interpret over the phone. Clears his throat. Murmurs a gravelly,
“N-not great. Think’ve- fuck- think’ve got appendicitis.”
There's a muffled curse and a rustling on Jack's end. Robby lets his eyes fall closed, throat bobbing nauseously.
“Mikey?”
“Mm.”
“I’m coming.”
OR
Robby gets appendicitis.

Summary
The AU where Bobby adopted Evan when he was six years old, and then twenty years later Eddie joins the 118 and starts dating Buck... and no one initially realises that Evan and Buck are, in fact, the same person. Part 1 is the story of the identity shenanigans and the reveal.
Part 3 is a collection of missing scenes from the original story, while Parts 4 ('how it could have gone') and 5 ('another way it could have gone') are outtakes and depict two different scenarios where the reveal of Buck and Evan being the same person go a different way.
Part 2 'oh captain my captain' is a prequel and shows the 118 meeting Bobby and then later on Evan.
Part 6 'these are the days we've been waiting for' is the story of Buck's first day at the 118.
Part 7 'may you live in interesting times' is a sequel to that takes place about a year or so later, and Part 8 'I once was lost (but now I'm found)' directly follows on and is a full-length sequel and prequel to the main story.
This series as it is now is standalone and can be considered complete. The only reason I haven't marked it as such is because I do expect to be adding additional installments at some point in the future. Happy reading!

Buck knows as well as anyone the dangers of repeated concussions. He was a college football player; he’s followed the development of the concussion stories as they’ve come out. And yeah, between his childhood recklessness (which has bled into adult recklessness), a few workplace incidents including a notable day with a hoarder house and a bowling ball, and his general affinity for being caught in unfortunate positions, he figures he’s had his fair share of concussions. But they’ve never really been in such close succession that he’s worried about them.

It happens like a flip of a switch.
"Buck?"
A shaky, sharp breath escapes Buck's lips, his eyelids flutter as his baby blues roll behind his head, and he slightly sways on his feet for not even a second before his knees buckle and—
"Whoa, whoa, hey!"
Bobby paces towards him and wraps his arm around Buck's waist before the other man drops on the ground like a deadweight.

I woke up inside the world of one of the best selling fantasy book series "Deadly Crown." Intrigue, handsome heroes, adventure... sounds great, right? Just one problem: all the named characters except the main hero and villain die, are replaced and their replacements die. Being important in this story is a death sentence, so I plan to move to the middle of nowhere, and avoid the plot!
It should be a fool proof plan, so why do the main characters keep dragging me into the story?
