Summary
Mario finds out Gunnar played a large role in history, and has been awarded none of the credit after Jon Jarl completely scrubbed him clean from the records. He's not happy that his boyfriend has been reduced to nothing more than an unnamed participant when his efforts were all that kept Jon Jarl on the throne. Armed with Ydris and righteous fury, he sets off to the nearest library to do what a scholar does best. Publish an accurate retelling of Jon Jarl's life from Gunnar Thyrmson's perspective- but to do that he'll need historically accurate sources which proves a unique challenge.

Summary
Midwinter is different here. You are used to the snow, the long nights, the cold, harsh wind—and yet, this is not the same winter as the one you know so well.
An exploration of what the main character’s arrival and adventure on Jorvik might feel like first-hand, told through short glimpses into their journey. Follows the main story up until Saving Anne, and thereafter diverges somewhat (though not all too wildly).
