Summary
The hero commission has always kept a close eye on Izuku ever since they learned about One For All. Knowing that the quirk is for saving the world, they decide to send him back in time to about a year before Izuku’s first year in U.A. He can do anything he wants to fix the timeline from becoming the apocalypse it has become. The catch: Nobody is to know he’s Izuku Midoriya, or a time traveler other than the top ranks of the hero commission. Hence, he becomes a teacher, and goes under the name Mikumo Akatani.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya had died at four years old, and then came back a few days later. His quirk, surprisingly the first recorded one of its kind, had immediately grabbed the commission's attention. With Izuku's dream to be a hero, he hadn't realized he was playing right into their hands, all against his protective mother.
Years later, all he wanted to do was get away from the commission, even at his own risk.
Keigo Takami found it surprisingly hard to take care of Izuku, knowing that trying to look out for him would put Izuku at more risk to getting caught than anything else. He just had to hold onto the hope that Izuku could take care of himself, and maybe find some people to help him along the way.

Summary
There were plenty of moments early on that Stoick and Valka had been unsure that Hiccup would make it. He was already born far too early, so who was to say that he wouldn’t be taken too early? He had always been at risk, and the dragon raids did nothing to help their nervousness over their child.
It was months that Valka did her best to keep close to make sure that Hiccup stayed okay. Those months also gave her so much time to sit back and watch the dragons closer than before.

Summary
Hiccup didn’t think twice about being called and answering to brother when Dagur and Heather called. In hindsight, though, he probably should have been a bit more careful about it. Not everyone had the luxury of knowing all that history.
Scratch that: he really should have been more careful with that, because now he was fairly certain the bounty hunter chasing him had called him Egilson spawn.
Which, to be clear, an Egilson he was not. Haddock, yes. Third in a series of three and counting, might he add. Egilson? Not on that bounty hunter’s life.

Summary
Deep down he knew it couldn’t end well. Stoick didn’t listen to him in their own home, so why would he ever during something that was meant to be a bloody battle to the death?
When his hammer hits that rung, it’s as if he’s sentenced him to death for his betrayal. The execution would have been quick— though certainly not painless— if not for his friend, determined to save his life, fighting off the Monstrous Nightmare that was meant to burn him to a crisp or bite him to pieces.
It’s not the dragon he was worried about.
Maybe Toothless could have won against the vikings that had begun climbing down into the arena, but on Hiccup’s request, he hadn’t killed a single one. His pleading leads nowhere when he begs him to leave, to save his own life, the dragon too set on protecting him.
Hiccup knows Toothless won’t leave without him, so in a brief moment of something between brilliance and insanity, he jumps on his back.
