It only takes a quick flash, and Lucifer’s chat blows up.
Lucifer’s eyes widen as he meets Alastor’s, who cradles his wrist in his other hand like he just got burnt. They stare at each other, gaping as the chat scrolls by.
'It’s fine, it’s fine, it’s just your hand, no one can tell anything from that,' Lucifer tries to say with his eyes while his heart beats a mile a minute. Over ten years of streaming, two years spent dating Alastor, and just over one year living together, no one has ever shown themselves on Lucifer’s stream unless they were an invited guest. Much less Alastor, who did everything within his power to keep his identity a secret.
And yet, all it took was Alastor accidentally moving his arm into view to break every rule they set up for themselves.

Summary
Once upon a time, Lucifer was minding his own goddamn business, living a perfectly normal life – one that he was very happy with, thank you very much.
That perfectly normal life – that he was very happy with – was abruptly turned on its head by the arrival of a mysterious fae, calling himself ‘Alastor’.
It turns out that normal life gets a lot harder to manage when you’ve got an almost mythical creature following you around, insisting he’s ‘helping.’ Lucifer isn’t sure how almost getting him arrested is meant to be any kind of help at all – but he has to admit, there is something about this man. Fae. Creature? Something about Alastor.
Something that seems to draw him in, an elusive sense of belonging that he’s never really had. The question is – can he prevent himself from throttling Alastor long enough to figure out what it is?

Lucifer was understandably shocked when some fallen angel, that he didn’t even know was in Hell mind you, bursted into his workshop (and the rest of his palace frankly) to yell at him for how he’s poorly been treating his daughter.
(Lies… all lies. Why would Lilith tell their daughter such lies?)
But! It all worked out in the end! Charlie wanted him in her and Vaggie’s lives and at their Hotel! Just… not as Lucifer. Luckily he was a shapeshifter and Imps were found all over Pride. And as Lucifer’s ‘royal secretary’ Lueur Magne was expected to check up on Hell’s Princess as much as possible!
Now if only that stupid busboy would leave him, his girls and his duck alone!

Summary
"We should act like we're dating!" Lucifer blurts out, wincing as his ears register how unintentionally loud he was.
Alastor regards him silently for a moment and Lucifer does his best not to squirm under the scrutiny. He fails almost immediately. He feels his face start to heat up and rushes to explain himself.
"Think about it. It will drive Vox crazy! Us sitting a little too close together on the couch, stuff that the others won't even notice..." Lucifer trails off into an awkward laugh, because Alastor isn't saying anything. If fact, he doesn't even seem to be breathing.

Vox will be at the hotel for a week to get some "promotional material" and Lucifer wants the television demon to be as miserable as possible without Charlie realizing what he is doing. Luckily he has the best idea!- Language:

He nods as if that confirms something for him. "And who am I?"
"My husband?" Lucifer asks hopefully, not really thinking through the ramifications of being wrong. He's never been great at filtering his thoughts before they spill out of his mouth.
A faint blush tinges the other demon's cheeks as his brows furrow. He seems frozen, but there's still a smile, so Lucifer must have come to the right conclusion!

Lucifer makes an assumption and Alastor, shockingly, goes along with it. Now that his memories are back, Lucifer is determined to figure out why the demon didn't correct him when he had the chance. Surely there are nefarious reasons at play, right?

Or: Lucifer learns physical touch really gets under Alastor's skin. To appease Charlie, he starts showering Alastor with hugs and the like whenever he pisses him off. That way, Charlie is none the wiser to what he's doing, and Alastor gets a taste of his own medicine.
