Summary
In the days before humans, angels possessed a unique ability to tether themselves to the essence of the universe around them, and to each other. It brought them strength and harmony, and helped hold together creation itself.
Today, no one has ever heard of a 'soul bond', and Lucifer is totally fine with that. Too old to even be a myth, the very concept is relegated to the dusty shelves at the back of the oldest Seraphims' minds.
Until Charlie comes along and asks Lucifer to heal Alastor, that is.

Summary
The war is over. Now all that's left to do is rebuild an entire planet and figure out what's next for everyone on it- especially those who were initially part of the army attempting to destroy it. Catra is off to rebuild Salineas, eager to fix the destruction she caused and prove to everyone- herself most of all- that change is possible, and that she will never again be the woman she was. Mermista would love to believe her, but with the remains of her home still smoking from cannon fire, can she let her walls down long enough to recognize a kindred soul, particularly one plagued by the same green eyes in her nightmares?
Love comes in many forms. It can save worlds, rebuild kingdoms, burn away darkness and call people home. Only time and patience can say if the love found when one looks in the mirror and understands what stares back will help two broken people start to pick up their pieces and find a home for each jagged edge.

Being alone with Adora was Catra’s favorite place to be. Always had been, always would be. She was the only person who she felt wholly comfortable with, whether they were silent, talking, flirting, fighting, whatever. Once upon a ton of time, they’d sat together on the roof of the group home, whispering about their future and all the amazing things they’d do. Every plan they made was a two-person affair. If Adora was an astronaut, Catra would work in mission control. If Catra was a zookeeper, Adora would be an exotic vet. If Adora went into the military, so would Catra. Together.
If Adora became a firefighter, got promoted ahead of schedule, and had the world dropped on her already sagging shoulders, then Catra would be there, too. Here. Helping to hold what she could, and piecing together the things that slipped out and broke at their feet.

New Orleans, 1927. Alastor de Rivière, aspiring radio host with a penchant for jazz, rye, and “hunting” meets a man claiming to be the king of hell on one of the most inconvenient days of his life. But the man hasn’t come topside for his soul and wants his heart instead?! Alastor’s answer is of course no. Ha! As if “no” ever stopped the devil…
Or the one where human!Alastor meets the literal devil after a summoning gone wrong, refuses to believe it, and accidentally ends up playing house with Lucifer for the next six years of his highly unconventional life until his own inevitable demise in 1933.
