Summary

Scott frowned at him, once again studying him sharply. His hands clenched and unclenched into little fists, his muscles tightening with each movement. It seemed like the kid was making a million decisions as he watched Clint, his brow creased under his brown bangs. His fingers clenched one last time, and then he let out a huff.
“Fine,” he muttered. He took a deep breath, carefully drawing himself up to his full fourteen-year-old height. His arms crossed tightly across his chest, his clunky gold visor catching the sun as he stared Clint down. “I’m Cyclops, leader of the X-Men. Now, what do you want with me and my team?”

In which Clint Barton meets Cyclops, the leader of the X-Men, a new group of rarely-seen mutant superheroes that many people would compare to terrorists. However, Cyclops is not the strong, stubborn, deadly man that Clint has heard of. In fact, he is not a man at all.

Things don't start off well, with Warren making his hatred for Kurt very clear. But Kurt won't give up on him so easily.
What they didn't expect was love to emerge from all this.

Aether paused. Never in a million years did he think that the morally complicated puppet before him would ever offer such a seemingly harmless invitation. Aether knew that, if he had any inch of common sense left, he should be suspicious of whatever nefarious scheme that the Wanderer may be plotting. And yet, something stirring deep within him, perhaps curiosity, or maybe just the fact that being in the Wanderer’s dream meant reprieve from the torture that was his own, urged him to plop down in the sand after only a moment’s hesitation.

Summary
Being the outcast of the Seven was never easy. Neither was being judged for his drinking habits, or thought by others to take everything for granted, not deserving his position between the Seven.
But what helped was that they never pronounced those thoughts aloud, so Barbatos could act as if he never noticed the cold stares, the judging looks. That was until he came in late to one of their most important meeting.
So what happens when Barbatos goes missing, and the only sign that he is alive is the slow and steady beating of his gnosis, connected to the other archons'?
Or an AU where the Original Seven are still alive and never died, and judge Barbatos too harshly. But we still love them.
PS: as of the 2.6 update, which is the time I started writing this fanfic, we know nothing of the former archons thus why they might be ooc, but for the sake of the story, we're going to ignore it. I just changed the name of the Dendro Archon to her original one because, for those who will see this in the future, this fanfic wasn't posted when 3.0 came out, so it was easy for me to just put Rukkhadevata instead of Kusanali.
