Dying was a shame. Dying just as she was about to achieve her Magnum Opus was an even bigger shame, and of appendicitis no less. But oh well, it was out of her control. She just hoped she could finally catch a break in the afterlife.

Now, somehow, she's the Antichrist in a cartoon she used to watch, her father is a duck-obsessed ADHD-brained mess of a man, her mother is absent at best, and she's got less than two hundred years to turn Hell into an actual centralized state before canon starts and everyone else's problems start becoming her problems.
But hey, at least she won't be bored... probably.
(Or in which, a professional chess player is reincarnated as Charlotte Morningstar, Princess of Hell, and does what anyone would do in her shoes-tear canon asunder and dance on the ashes, because she is NOT going to tip-toe around the timeline just to get disrespected by a man with a TV for a head and literally half the cast of her own damn show.)

Summary
After the battle with the exorcists from Heaven, Vox jumps at the chance to solidify a position at the hotel and make a petty attempt to one up Alastor. His weak plan is surprisingly saved by a king in shining armor: Lucifer. The two form an unlikely bond, something that tests their limits. Between upkeeping perfect images and the ever looming war against the angels, the two learn that the other is not invincible- rather, made up of ichor and wires.

When Young-il had first turned around with the number 001 on him, of course the first thing that crossed Gi-hun’s mind was that the person with that number could be a plant again. But the thought had been quickly dismissed, as the Front Man knew he was in there and would know he wouldn't fall for that again. If there was another undercover player, Gi-hun had decided it would definitely be one with a different number.
The second thought that had crossed his mind was that the new player 001 was quite beautiful.
Though that thought had been quickly pushed aside as well, since it was drastically overshadowed by the dire circumstances they were in. Maybe there would have been time to explore it once they got out and could get soju like Young-il had said, but then Young-il had died and took any chances of that happening with him.
Or so Gi-hun had thought.
