Summary
For Steve, things never went according to plan. He had never thought he’d be graduating in ‘86, the same year as Robin and Nancy, a year after be was supposed to. But he also never planned on letting anyone find out that he’s one of the kids from Hawkins’ Lab, that he’s like Eleven.
But now he’s spending his lunchbreaks with the Hellfire Club and finds himself befriending Eddie “The Freak” Munson. And maybe he also has a tiny crush on Munson, not that he’d ever admit that to anyone.
Hawkins being Hawkins, a year can never be complete without another threat from the Upside Down, and if there was one thing Steve had definitely not planned for, it was Eddie getting dragged into the whole mess alongside the rest them.OR: Steve is Seven and failed his classes causing him to have to repeat his last year of Highschool. He and Eddie become friends and maybe something more but then Vecna attacks and Eddie is pulled into a part of Steve’s life he never wanted him to be a part of.

He was positive he could take on an intruder as long as they were not some huge body builder.
The door knob twisted and he was running out of time. He quickly spotted the discarded Converse and grabbed a shoe. He held the sneaker up in the air like a bat. He was ready to shoe this trespasser in the head if that was a thing. He wasn’t sure if it was. Shit!
The door flung open and a young man strolled out without a care in the world, humming some song to himself, oblivious to his surroundings – no situational awareness to be found. His brown hair was wet and messy with strands askew.
And… he was completely naked. One hundred percent bare. Peter’s eyes drifted down the pale torso that was covered in moles with some beads of water still trickling down his rib cage towards the vee of his narrowed waist.
His eyes could not help but follow the trail towards his crotch to check out… “oh my fucking God. Who are you?” The other voice unfortunately sliced through his ogling session causing his eyes to refocus back to the young man’s face who now finally appeared startled by a stranger standing in front of him.
Oh yeah, he was supposed to be confronting an intruder; not checking him out

Robin unsuccessfully hides a smirk. “Yes, remember? Your wisdom teeth had to come out.”
Steve blinks at her blankly.
“Oh my god, you’re so doped up right now.” Robin smiles, and reaches across again to pat him on the knee.
“Took my teeth,” Steve mumbles again, under his breath. His head’s full of cotton. “They were my teeth.”

“Did you?” Diane cuts in. “Weigh your options?” She nods towards where Evan is examining the green stains on his hands and Valerie snorts a laugh when he stamps his small handprint onto the tablecloth. “He was a saviour sibling. Now what is he? What will you tell him?”
“We tell him nothing,” Margaret sighs to rid her chest of the burden of hospital air. She wraps her arms around herself to sculpt an embrace her mother has yet to give her. “We lost Daniel. We lost our baby boy.” Her voice breaks at the last word, and she lowers her head.
“You still have your family,” says her father Arthur, a quiet, hopeful man.
But his daughter shakes her head. “Not without him. Not anymore.”
OR: A telling of the untold, of the moments between postcards, of the ghost at Buck's shoulder, of the day he said the q-word, of the day he said 'I do'. A rewrite of the show up until season 5 where, eventually, Buck finds a place to call home.

Peter had many muses: the Aurora in the sky, creating surreal colors and patterns above a snowy landscape; tears running down a stranger's face while a gun rests in their hands; the daunting height of a massive cliff above turquoise water; dark storm clouds and lightning over bright, sun-lit trees.
And none of them were working.
He sat staring at his computer with his fingers resting uselessly over the keys, reading over his last few chapters, reaching the end of the last sentence and... nothing. His mind spawned no new scenes. The characters on the pages paused in time and he couldn't push them on... The dreaded so-called "writers-block".
Peter grimaced and reached for his glass of whiskey, positively disgusted at himself. Then groaned and ran a rough hand through his hair, disgusted at himself for caring about his writing enough to be disgusted at himself in the first place.
This just wouldn't do.
