Summary
The air bites his skin as he lands behind the brush near a lit clearing. Akaza looks up at the torch-lit clearing, his citrine-sapphire eyes locking onto a human dressed in ceremonial clothing, the human’s eyes are covered by a cloth that has the kanji “flames” written on it. He’s barefooted on the cold hard ground, yet he moves to a dance that has no song as if the cold doesn’t exist.
It takes a moment for Akaza to process what he’s witnessing.
Dancing. This man is dancing in the bitter cold. He’s going to get sick.
OR
While on the hunt for the blue spider lily, Akaza witnesses the Kamado family's Kagura. Meeting the Kamados changes his whole perspective of the world and his absolute morals.

The moment everything changed was the moment Douma felt something within him. His chest was not hollow - his heart was not still... not anymore. Something in him stirred and he felt a small twinge of his lungs, filling him with foreign warmth. Suddenly, the world was vibrant, and at the center of it was her. She was called Kotoha, a young woman with dark hair, deep beautiful eyes, and a truly lilting voice that seemed to soothe the heavens in its softness.
The demon was transfixed. The baby in her arms suddenly didn't seem so annoying in its cooing and her smile didn't seem fake as he assumed most were.
The day everything changed was the day Douma truly smiled for the first time.

Winter is coming to a close in Finland. But as the snow melts, the crew finds a strange, triangular doorway on the outskirts of town. A doorway which neither Onni nor Lalli have seen before.
They don’t want to get tangled in another adventure already. But fate had other plans in the form of aggressive beasts made of metal.
No knowledge of the horizon games is needed or even recommended to read this. I haven’t even finished the first game and it’s been out for a few years. You will need to know Stand Still Stay Silent, because I don’t give context for any of that.

Summary
Princes Dick and Jason are travelling through the forest when they encounter a dragon. A very small dragon. On one hand, they should probably slay the dragon because that's the protocol with dragons. On the other hand, awe a baby.
They decide to take it home and raise it as a pet.
Tim the dragon is, on one claw, very happy not to be slain. On the other, he is not a pet nor a baby. He is, however, very afraid that these humans will change their minds and slay him anyway.
Their castle turns out to be pretty nice, once he gets past the bone-deep fear of being murdered.
