Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”

Ratchet was prepared for an assortment of things to be wrong with an announcement like that. Like the station was going to explode or they discovered they had no ammo or had no snacks left or they were about to be sucked into a blackhole.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure we can prepare for it," Kit reassured her while Clank nodded.
"Nef- I mean, the Emperor. He's my husband, we're married," Rivet said in a rush. "And um, most of this is happening because he refused to go to marriage counseling and I was so mad I left and started trying to overthrow his empire to prove that he isn't right about everything all the time."
The complete silence that followed that was stifling.
Then-
"I'm sorry, I just hallucinated," Ratchet said. "You and he are what?"
Or, the one where Rivet and Nefarious have relationship problems which they make the entire galaxy's problem.

Afton Robotics has risen to power over the years it's been a thing, and now almost no one can be caught without one of their highly sought after, and highly powerful products. More powerful than the government itself, they've taken over the world in all but name.
But there are those few who understand that maggots hide underneath the gilded gold mask that the corporation has, and those few have been attempting to take it down, even when a cyborg was created by Afton Robotics and began to complicate things.
Jeremy Fitzgerald is one of these few, as he knows all too well how monstrous the corporation and its CEO really are. Thanks to William Afton, the CEO of Afton Robotics, his entire family is gone and he is intent on getting his revenge, through any means necessary.
What he didn't plan on was meeting the infamous weapon of Afton Robotics, the M-Cyborg, and surviving the encounter. And what he really didn't plan on was learning that M-Cyborg hated Afton Robotics just as much as Jeremy did.

The Hermits are an Avengers-style superhero group, who keep their world as safe as they can. The Evolutionists are a group who are against the Hermits, and want to do everything in their power to show the world the truth about the Hermits.
Grian was raised with the Evolutionists and their ideology. He's fiercely loyal to the cause, and is their new champion. Known as the Watcher and with his Listeners, Martyn and Jimmy, as backup, Grian has been tasked with releasing a captive from the Hermit's compound. But first, he has to form a life outside of the Evolutionists.
Scar, through some unforeseen circumstances, was given Vex powers. It's alright though, he was found by Xisuma, the leader of the Hermits, and they helped him to get his powers under control. He just wants to keep his friends safe, especially Grian, his new roommate who just moved into town.
Basically the Scarian superhero au that no one asked for.

Tommy knew exactly what was going to happen, and he knew that there was no point in resisting, for it’d be over quicker if he gave up and went along with it (and if he struggled he’d really just be making a fool of himself). So he walked over to Dream, quietly, obediently, and stood facing the crowd. At least his death would be quick this time, he thought, as he shut his eyes and felt the cool of metal against his neck. One slash, and the world went dark.
Or: Tommy didn’t originally plan to hit the water when he jumped off the tower in Logsted, so he hit the ground instead. Dream decides that’s as good a time as any to test out the revival book, and upon succeeding, decides he’s a god and it’s high time he gained some followers.
