Summary
Wylan Hendriks, rising star that is taking the music world by storm, is Jesper Fahey's ex. It's been six months since they broke up, and Jesper is totally over it. Of course he was. It had only been an eighteen month relationship. Eighteen wonderful months, during which he'd had friends that loved him, a job he actually kind of liked, and an incredible boyfriend. He'd attended Wylan's shows and sang the words to every single one of his songs as loud as he could and dragged him and their friends to bars afterwards. He'd celebrated an album release, the first time one of Wylan's songs hit a million streams, and dream collaborations. They'd moved in together and talked about a future. Everything had been perfect.
Everything had been perfect, until it hadn't been. Until they'd argued and been so angry at each other breaking up seemed a million times more plausible than ever reconciling. Now, Jesper lived alone- he didn't see his friends as much anymore, he avoided going out when he could. Now, everything sucked, and Jesper had only himself to blame.

The ice cold tone to Wylan’s voice was not an entirely unfamiliar one. Jesper had heard it before, though not often. He was lucky enough to have never been on the receiving end of it, but he’d watched others suffer more than once.
“What? Mister Van Eck-”
“Councilman.”
“Excuse me?”
Wylan’s eyes were hard. Jesper was glad he’d had Namazzi take Hendrik out of the room to go play, because he wasn’t sure how either of them would react to seeing their da like this.

Jesper shrugged uncomfortably. “Sometimes I lose myself a little? At first it’s like a high and I really, really enjoy myself, but once they stop touching me, I get all shaky and emotional and fall apart. I think it’s just that high wearing off, but it makes things awkward.”
Wylan frowned thoughtfully. “What if they don’t stop touching you?”Jesper has never been able to go into subspace safely because he's only been with casual partners. Wylan wants to change that.

Summary
