“It is by your will and strength that I am alive now to kneel before you and offer,” Spock opened the box to reveal a dagger. Jim had seen antique blades before, but nothing compared to the intricate Vulcan design laid out before him. An offering, though he was too afraid to ask for what purpose it is to be used, “atonement in the way of my people.”

Summary
The crowning of the sa-te’kru, the monarch, is a once in a lifetime event. The Clan Surak has ruled over Vulcan since the beginning. Before Surak there was S’chn and T’gai. The clan has always produced steadfast and worthy heirs. The duty to uphold the Vulcan spirit, kahr’y’tan tam’a, through chaos and hardship. Often falls on one member of the clan; if not by blood then by bond. Spock had known since a very young age that the elevation of his father Sarek as the new sa-te’kru would change everything.
After Sybok’s banishment he was made heir. And luckily enough for him, his engagement to T’Pring saved him the horrors of political matchmaking.
Not that Spock was foolish enough to think his engagement was anything other than a political arrangement. He at least had been seven at the time and not privy to the decision making debates. Now with a failed marriage behind him and the title of prince ahead of him Spock knew that there would be no escaping a new betrothal.

Summary
The Justice League is very similar to every other business when it comes to Holiday parties and the employees willingness to get wasted on the employers dime. Barry has the genius idea to help Clark feel included in the festivities by obtaining some pink kryptonite.
And everyone agrees because who isn't at least a little curious? What could a more gay Clark even look like?
And Clark doesn't really have anything to lose.

ISS-Enterprise Captain James T. Kirk wants to tie his and Spock's life together. In a way that no one will ever forget.
What better way to do that then by going down on him while his first officer has to give his briefing to an admiral? It helps when it is the middle of the bridge and the admiral is his former captain who Jim usurped.
By the end the entire Empire will know them as Kirk and Spock. As they are meant to be.
