A murdermedia fic inspired by a roleplay I'm doing with my friend. I don't have a solid plot for this, but I do have an idea of how I want it to end. We'll see where this goes, I guess?

“Zoidberg, when was the last time your people mated?” the professor asked, realization dawning on his face. The doctor’s body went still. “Oh, nothing to be ashamed of, old friend. We can’t help our biology,”
“What’s this about biology?” Hermes’ voice came from the doorway. “You two better not be cooking up any atomic monsters,”
“Oh, nothing of the sort, dear Hermes!” The professor assured him. “Zoidberg here has simply entered his period of mating frenzy!”
Zoidberg’s shoulders dropped and he buried his face in his claws. Hermes shifted uncomfortably behind him, then seemingly steeled himself and approached the pair. “I see,” he said thoughtfully, hesitating before placing a hand on Zoidberg’s back. “Is there anything the professor or I could do to help?”

Summary
I take a list of 20 random words, use each word as a prompt roll a d4 to see how many characters are in the fic, and spin a wheel to see which characters to include. A writing challenge I set for myself to get past writer's block, plus I love the mercs and I think they're a found family.
