Summary
It was weird—he’d shared the ice with people before, obviously, for warm-ups and gala skates, but something about this was different. It was like he couldn’t focus. It was…frustrating.
Scott tried to ignore it, but as he was skating backwards, building up to a lutz, his feet suddenly came out from under him and he went backwards in a way he hadn’t since his early days of skating. It was like all his previous fall-safety-knowledge had fled him in the seconds it took to fall, and he didn’t realize he even was until his head smacked against the ice. It wasn’t hard enough to see stars, thankfully, but it was apparently hard enough to stunlock him to the point Pearl had the time to skate over and gawk down at him.
“Are you okay?” She asked, holding out a hand for him to get up. He blinked once and took it, letting her help him right himself. “That looked like a bad fall.”

When pro figure skater Scott takes a nasty fall on the ice during practice he wakes up in a time loop that seems to revolve around fixing his no-good-very-bad-Christmas Eve (and finding love along the way).
