“And that’s what the doctor said?” Techno asks, his brows drawn tightly together.
“Yup. Acute myeloid leukaemia. Treatable for the most part but I’ve still got an expiry date.”

Tommy wants to complete his bucket list. Wilbur is on board. Techno just... really wants to be done with the both of them.

“It’s a family tradition, a recipe passed down through the ages,” Tommy says, like the liar he is. He just likes making weird shit sometimes. “Would you like to try it?”

It's been hundreds of years since L'Manburg had fallen, and the land around it had succumbed to nature and destruction. The only things left, now, are ruins - a common tourist attraction for the modern world and its modern people.
Tommy finds himself working there at a hotdog stand. It's fun, probably.

"This!" George exclaims, "All of this! This is meant to be my SMP now! Not yours, not Dream's– mine! You're meant to do exactly as I say!"
"Have you lost it?!" Tommy shouts as he pushes upwards slightly. “Your SMP!? Since when!?"
"Since now! God– don't you see? Don't you see it all?" George laughs– and he's laughing now, letting out manic, shrieking bursts of laughter. "This whole place!" He gestures.
(Tommy is high. He is definitely high.)

“Characters,” Tommy repeats once more. He sort of feels like they’re in a conga line with how many times they’ve repeated the same word. “Like, in a book.”
“...We’re characters from a book?” Tubbo stares.
“Yes,” Tommy agrees, and then shakes his head wildly from side to side. His hair is long. It flops. “No, I mean. Like we’re from a book. But we’re not from a book. But we are characters.”

Tommy is self-aware. Nothing makes sense. The sky is changing colours. (Tubbo’s face might be glitching.)

Tommy is 10 years old and sick. His nose won't stop bleeding. His hands won't stop shaking. Tubbo is the boy stood outside of his hospital room, barefoot and grinning, who's very determined to make a new friend.
