This has all been so good with Diluc. Pretending to be young again.
Realistically, they’re still young. But he feels so old standing in the winery’s little kitchenette. This wasn’t here before. The winery is Diluc’s home now. He wonders why, but asking would no doubt also shatter this little space they’re living in.

Diluc and Thoma catch up on everything (and everyone) they've missed while they make up for that teen-romance they never got to have.

“The fact that Shitty Dazai ain’t here is all the more reason to be suspicious,” Chuuya says bitterly. “But the weretiger is right—to nullify abilities, there's gotta be physical contact.”
Suddenly, the black display monitor on the wall flashes on.

“Not like what?” And Dazai loathes the way that Kunikida says those words, all soft around the edges like he’s talking to some traumatized civilian who got caught up in something they weren’t supposed to.
“You know what I mean,” Dazai insists, pushing himself up to stand at his full height. “I’m not like that.”
Not human. Not built so softly that he was traumatized by his upbringing. Not made of glass or porcelain. Not a thing to be handled delicately. Not someone who was undeserving of what came upon him.

5+1 of Dazai learning that growing up in the mafia does in fact have some adverse effects and no, supressing your trauma does not make it go away.
