Summary
The first story in this series, “Trade the Game You Know for Shelter,” can be read as a stand-alone. All of the pieces thereafter continue from the moment that first story leaves off and serve a broader plot that I’m in the process of building. Currently, the timeline covered across the existing stories is 4 September 1973 - 11 January 1974, but I have plans to take this series at least as far forward as 1980 in its internal timeline.

Summary
"Prince Lestat I will be," I said. "That is the term that's been offered to me over and over in one form or another, it seems. And my court shall be in my castle, and I invite all of you to come there and help forge the constitution and the rules by which we'll live. I will need your help in deciding a multitude of questions. And I will delegate to those of you who are receptive various tasks to help us move to a new and glorious existence which I hope that all the blood drinkers of the world will come to share."
From the initial gathering at Trinity Gate, this fic explores the final trilogy, the initial shaping of a political and vibrant court around the new Prince Lestat, plays and music and immortal Friday night balls, all leading up to the abduction of Louis.
Sorry to anyone who liked AR’s “here there be aliens” plot. This fic isn’t gonna go there.

Summary
I'll keep it simple to avoid spoilers.
Post-interview (in a world Armand never betrayed Louis) Armand and Louis are going on a road trip to avoid getting killed by soon to be invading angry vampires.
They see a tree in the road and end up in a town, at night, where monsters torture and kill people every night. They find these monster to be a delectable, junk food-like, treat. Apparently, vampires are also predators for 'Smile' monsters.
They decide to lay low, stick to eating the monsters at night as cover, while they live among the humans and try to help find a way home too. Insisting all the while Louis has a sun allergy. Interestingly enough they come to find that all the people here don't seem to have a concept of vampires? So the excuse works. They wonder, if they might not all be from the same world like they first thought.
Oh, and Louis may have risked their cover by choosing to save someone, giving the towns folk full view to see just how the terrifying monsters ran for the first time ever to get away from an approaching Louis and Armand.
For clarity, this takes place after the Matthews arrive but before the bus does.

Summary
Armand was aware that he often lost time.
It was better now than it had once been.
On the slave ship, in the brothel, when he was in Marius’ care.
He had never questioned why it happened or what caused it. He knew enough of the modern era to know that an answer was likely out there somewhere, but what good would such a thing do him?
Waking up in an unfamiliar bed in an apartment that seemed only vaguely familiar was all the more disconcerting for how long it had been since it had happened to Armand.
He tried to orient himself. He needed to put just enough of the pieces together to know enough to fake his way through his next few interactions and then it would be as if it never happened.

"Do you..." Daniel trailed off as if he was trying to carefully choose his next words. "Do you really see him as that? Your father?"
Armand wished he could take back what he said, to make it like those words never left his mouth in the first place, like it never happened at all. But now it was to late and Daniel wouldn't rest until he had an answer.
"Perhaps father is not the right word. He was my maker. My lover. My saviour. My master. He was a god to me, my everything. And he worshiped me in every roll he took on. Amadeo means beloved by god, a sacred name picked out with care. He was my god and I was his beloved Amadeo. So perhaps he did not love me as a son but he loved me as his child, nonetheless. I was a child of god, graced by his merciful adoration."
Armand's face was frozen in a sad smile even as Daniel's eyes seemed to pierce through him.
"Okay." Daniel said slowly, like he always did when he was trying really hard to hold back. "Alright, sure. Not your father but your god. Yeah, that's much better."

Daniel's daughters come by for a visit, resulting in hard conversations, a few realisations and, hopefully, some healing.

“Finish it,” Armand says abruptly, reaching out to touch the bottom of the glass. He tilts it up to Daniel’s lips, the words an imperious command.
Daniel barely opens his mouth in time. He chokes on what’s left of the watery crème de menthe and crème de cacao, but Armand doesn’t lower the glass until he’s finished every last drop. His head swims, partly because he’s tipsy and partly because of the brain freeze.
Armand withdraws the empty glass, sets it aside, and grabs a napkin off the bar. He dabs Daniel’s lips with it, brushing the bare pad of his thumb across Daniel’s chin. His skin is warm and smooth, slightly clammy with condensation borrowed from the glass.
Oh my God, Daniel thinks. Don’t lick him don’t lick him don’t lick—
Clearing his throat, Armand sets the napkin aside. “You’re a journalist?”
“Yeah,” Daniel replies hastily, looking away. “You were listening in?”
“I caught part of your chat with Louis. You were going to interview him?”
“Was being the operative word. I’m not sure that would’ve worked out.”

The boy felt a surge of red on his face and chest. Of course, it would go this way. He pressed his lips into a thin line, fighting the shame. Armand gave him a merciful, ironic smile.
"Do you have qualms about good manners? Oh, Daniel, I warn you that this will not be the last thing you will have to ask for tonight," he warned suggestively.
Daniel was going to die today. He swallowed, all too aware that he was blushing all over.
"P-please."
"Hmm," Armand hummed with disapproval. "You are a writer; you can do better than that."
Daniel groaned helplessly, tightening his fingers on the turtleneck fabric.
"Please, let me take this off and touch you. Please." Once the first barrier of humiliation was crossed, it was all downhill. Daniel was made for begging Armand.
The vampire smiled dangerously and nodded, regaining his earlier spark of control.
"Good boy," he praised him.

What I do know is con-man and amateur photographer, Louis, and his adopted... Claudia, Claudia, are looking for someone to pass as the “Prince of Auvergne” so they can get the inheritance currently being held for him in Paris. I also know Lelio fits their criteria perfectly, but can’t remember his past.
