On a trip to the grocery store for some ingredients for a new pasta dish you've been wanting to try, you run into a very tall someone who shares similar interests. Summary
This series is something I got inspired to come up with after reading 98rahkshi's LOVETALE- Saga of the Underground, and when an errant stream of thought crossed the idea of Undertale taking place in the Fallout Universe.
While the primary goal in general is a story focused on Frisk and Asriel, my planning out of this series is likely to wind up basically being a sort of redo/remake of my Undertale Fursona's own personal AU. This means I might also in time include other friends and loved ones characters. And will definitely wind up including concepts and ideas that I originally came up for Tales of Monster City.

Besides, Killer never really knew when to quit. After a nasty fight with Cross, Killer gets lost in his frustrations and ends up in a part of Nightmare’s castle he’s never been to before.
The deeper he goes the colder it gets, and the darker it gets. The light he finds at the end of this tunnel seems more like someone's prison than a way out.

With Chara's assistance, they were successfully able to reestablish a connection with Frisk, but this had unexpected consequences. It caught the eye of a threat far more dangerous than anything Frisk, Chara, or the Player had ever seen before. It captured one of them, and gave the other two a choice, save their friend and convince them to change their mind, or watch as the entire universe is annihilated.

It's a different story when you're transported into an ideal alternate timeline, where your oath is rendered void. Here, with your various counterparts, you don't appreciate reliving the life of a prisoner-- especially when it's enforced by a reflection of what your Sans could've been.
(OR: In a pacifist timeline, an alternate Sans possessing a human soul appears, risking the newly established peace between humans and monsters. If Classic Sans had hair, he's pretty sure he'd still end up bald.)
