At sixteen, Tommy struggles with getting through school, keeping his passion for handicrafts alive and his relationships with his foster family steady. All of those things start to seem rather minute when he gets bitten by a radioactive spider after a field trip to Oscorp, which creates about a million more problems for him.
Mainly, he can stick to his ceiling now.
Also, he (sort of, accidentally) becomes a superhero, and he can’t let anyone know.

He wiped away frustrated tears. Tommy was never really good at school to begin with. Last semester at his old foster home, he could barely get Ds. Tommy should be proud of himself for getting a C-, but he only felt writhing guilt.

Tommy could feel the flames from their torches licking his back. and sharp ends of pitchforks tearing into his flesh. Blood rushes from his wounds and soaks into his shirt. He pushes himself to run faster.
He doesn't want to run anymore; he thinks as he takes a sudden turn.
When he was a younger boy, and his mom was still around, she had warned him of the forest. Of the things lurking in the shadows, of the sparkling eyes trying to lure you in, of ugly, vile, creatures that she said wouldn't hesitate to rip him apart.
Tommy didn't want to die but he couldn't keep running.

The two had quietly made their way over to the trio's table, ignoring the loud noises of students in the cafeteria. The two stopped in front, the brunette sticking his hand out to Tubbo.
“Hi, hello,” Tubbo shook his hand, returning the greeting, “We’re new here, and we were wondering if you would mind us sitting here?” He asked, giving a glance to Tommy who was staring at them.
“Yes, we fucking mind.” Tommy hissed, his eyes darting from the pinkette to the brunette. “Find another table to sit at.”
