Techno chuffs softly, “I’m not leaving, Runt,” he assures, even though he doesn’t know it's a lie, “I’m not leaving, okay?”
“You will...” Tommy’s eyes flutter shut again, exhaustion dragging him down as he longs to whisper more, “You will… You all do… you all will…”
(Where Tommy dies in prison and ends up in the past with all the trauma to fuck it up again... and his scars keep appearing? What the hell?)

Anakin Skywalker, a feral, brilliant, half-mechanical trauma-powered demigod with attachment issues and a black market contact list longer than his war record. The back-alley legend, the one whose name is still whispered in the underworld with a mix of awe and fear. The one the Jedi couldn’t tame, could only point in a direction and pray. The Jedi taught him graceful lightsaber forms, but Watto’s yard taught him how to win a fight, when you’ve only got a rusted blade and a broken hand. You think Anakin doesn’t know how to grab someone by the jaw and bite? Please. He fights like he needs to win. Because he does NEED to.

Three eighteen p.m., he read with blurry eyes, vision still swimming from the phantom damage to his skull.

“Greetings, your majesties. As the hand to the throne, I pass on my king's gratitude. The SMP welcomes you.” Dream gives the normal platitudes, but Tommy still stares in awe. He’s glad his mask hides his utter shock.
Because he knows these people. It’s been so long- impossibly long- but he used to know them.
Once upon a time, before the Greater SMP, the masks, immortality, Dream- Tommy was just a kid who thought he could always be free.
And he knew those men, not yet leaders of an empire, by different names. The Angel of Death, The Siren, and The Blood God. Lord Zephyrus, Admin Icarus, and General Protesilaus.

Or, Dream is an immortal who controls everything in The Greater SMP and has made Tommy his unwilling right-hand man. The Antarctic Empire's visit shouldn’t mean much besides more guests to appease- except Tommy recognizes the visitors. Sam rescues Tommy from the prison, and no one knows he's died. Everything is too loud, too bright, too much. He is bombarded with sensory information, struggling to process it after the nothingness of the Afterlife. It take him three days to leave his house. He's been gone for two weeks, and he hopes that someone has noticed, but on a trip to the hotel he halts as he sees another hotel beside it. And there in the doorway, with matching rings on their fingers and laughing without a care in the world, are Ranboo and Tubbo.
Tommy's been forgotten.
But over the next few weeks, Niki and Jack seek him out. Sometimes individually, sometimes together, but Tommy is always delighted to see them no matter what they do. Who cares about the murder attempts? They're seeking him out! They want to spend time with him, clearly. Tommy misses them; they were friends before New L'Manberg, and he's happy to have them back as friends again.

I really love guilty villains lol and so Tommy befriends Jack and Niki even as they continually try and kill him until they start questioning their choices. (And Tommy knows about it but what's a little pain when he gets friends in exchange?)
