Summary
Andrew's left PSU behind, and is out in the world on his own again. No Neil, no family, no Foxes. Which is fine. He's not bothered by this. Not at all. So when his first pro game rolls around, Andrew's determined to get through it like any other game. “Have you considered the possibility that Neil has chosen you, but believes you have not chosen him?” Renee says. "Have you ever explicitly told him what you want?”
“Neil knows what I want,” Andrew snaps. This is not Andrew’s fault.
“How do you know?”
Because Neil always knows. He is as fluent in Andrew’s micro-expressions as he is in German and French. He knows which head tilts mean “go on” and which ones mean “shut up.” Without ever asking, he learned what it meant to see Andrew wearing double layers of long sleeves, or taking multiple showers in a day, and learned to hand Andrew the car keys.
That has always been the most terrifying thing about Neil — his patience to wait, watch, listen, learn. The prospect that if Neil were given enough time, there would be no part of Andrew that was just Andrew’s anymore.
“He has to know,” Andrew says.
“Does he?” Renee says. “Have you ever known Neil to assume that he is wanted?”
Five times Neil tells someone that he and Andrew aren’t dating, and one time Andrew uses his words to set the record straight.

Summary
After committing several acts of 'public service' Alastor needed a place to hide. He chose a church, the first place he’d heard had a borderline cultish following. Where over half the congregation were migrants, runaways, or otherwise social outcasts, it was the perfect way to hide in plain sight.
Only, he didn't count on the congregation being led by such an alluring Priest at the helm...

“You…uh…” Whatever he was going to ask died in his throat as Alastor turned his head to nuzzle his palm.
Lucifer’s brain may have short circuited at that while other parts of him abruptly came online.
Alastor blinked, some of the newfound haziness leaving his eyes as he turned back to face him. He continued to lean into his touch. “You were saying?”
Oh, fuck, how had Lucifer never noticed how hot his voice was before?
“Uh…”
Husk started making frantic shooing motions too from where he stood by the doors.
“…you wanna see my rubber duck collection..?”
Alastor blinked. “What.”
Angel dropped his head back into his hands in defeat.

Alastor's rut comes earlier than expected. Lucifer volunteers as tribute. An awkward few days and one existential crisis later, Lucifer might just realize his budding feelings aren't as one-sided as he thought.

If there's anything Lucifer has learned from his sunshiney daughter, it's that you've gotta kill them with kindness!
Or: Lucifer learns physical touch really gets under Alastor's skin. To appease Charlie, he starts showering Alastor with hugs and the like whenever he pisses him off. That way, Charlie is none the wiser to what he's doing, and Alastor gets a taste of his own medicine.
..The problem begins when Alastor starts seeking him out for affection.

However, having to team up with Alastor really takes the cake. Although the demon does look quite fetching in his apron. Oh no!

Alastor’s attempt to bully Lucifer out of Charlie’s life backfires spectacularly. Even so, he soon comes to enjoy pushing Lucifer’s buttons and turning up the heat. Until things get complicated and Alastor finds himself entangled in a web of politics, lies and betrayals.
