So Blue hits us with:
"I'm thinking of an age gap au where Vox is Alastor's agent and Alastor is like 19 and Vox is in his 40s.
I was thinking maybe modern day au where Vox is a talent scout and agent (most cutthroat in the biz but if you can survive him, you'll be wildly successful). He also should be divorced bc he has that energy. Alastor's been the host of his high school and now uni radio station and occasionally dips into voice acting/singing for friends as needed.
Vox finds his show and says, I need this bastard on my client list now. He tracks Alastor down and tried to convince him to leave uni for a life of showbiz but Alastor is like, after the loans I just incurred? I think not! I *will* be finishing this degree."
And then it all snowballed into a big beautiful sugar daddy AU that we've been writing snippets for.

Summary
Vox goes home after failing to properly hypnotize Alastor, going in front of a mirror to try and practice holding his spiraling for longer so he’s able to more successfully hypnotize others. Vox is not aware of the fact that his powers plus a mirror do not mix well.

Summary
The year is precanonical and the partners in crime, Alastor and Vox, have long decided to lay off the ‘in crime’ part. They -occasionally- live together in a little apartment that becomes their safe haven, away from their respective lives. It allows them to explore the boundaries of their friendship and push a bit further each day. This day they push it even more, learning new things about each other and themselves and trying to deal with these revealing emotions (and hormones).
They push the boundaries a healthy amount. They actually do a lot of pushing. The whole fic is actually about fucking- I mean pushing! The boundaries of their friendship.

Summary
“Woah, woah,” Vox says. “Hold your horses. What—”
“This isn’t right.” The shadows around him swirl and turn darker and darker, sharpening into points. His eyes are shining red. “What did you do to me?”
“I didn’t do shit!” Vox sits up and crawls forward—Alastor presses himself back against the wall, ears flattened over his head. The hard turn from predator to scared-looking prey is making Vox’s head swim. “How is it my fault you’re rock hard?”
And he really is, Vox’s hindbrain notes. If anything, he seems to have gotten thicker—Vox can see the outline of him perfectly. Alastor curls in on himself when he notices Vox’s eyes.
“I don’t,” he starts, and then stops. That seems to be the end of the sentence.
“Well, you clearly are," Vox spits, frustrated. “I really don’t get the hassle here. I mean, we’ve been. Uh.” Together is a loaded word, but so is dating. Fraternizing? No, that sounds even more sordid. “Companionable. Right? This isn’t out of the, uh. Range of options.”

Summary
Smoke pours out of the kitchen as Vox hurries out with a heaping pile of food blackened beyond all recognition. “You’ll have to tell me what you think. I tried a new seasoning!” Vox babbles happily using his claws to take a piece of what is presumably food and nibbling it. Alastor hums and pulls the serving dish to himself, taking a fair amount, resigned to the fact that he would be following this meal with something raw to get the taste out of his mouth.
“Maybe we should—” Charlie starts, her smile has slipped as she eyes the smoking breakfast. She picks up the fork and Alastor gives her a pleased nod.
Alastor spears a large piece, not bothering to cut it. It would probably turn to ash on his plate if he tried. He slips it into his mouth and swallows without chewing. He smacks his lips a few times to clear the taste before he turns to Vox with a smile. “It’s delicious as always dear. So delicious in fact that I expect everyone here will clean their plates.” Alastor hears audible gulps from around the table.
Or Alastor finds Vox and takes him home. Them becoming mates is purely happenstance. The rest of hell is simply along for the ride. It’ll be fine, provided they keep Vox out of the kitchen.

To Alastor they were just two good friends hanging out by the pool. He had no idea his long time pal Vox had been infatuated with him for decades. So it wasn’t inherently sexual to him when he curiously asked to touch Vox’s vents.
