Summary
Bumped to the lowest step on the social ladder after his fight with Billy, Steve gets roped in with the cheer team. What starts as a favor to help them out when one member breaks her leg in turn for protection from the brunt of the bullying, sets the universe on a different path.
He befriends Chrissy and grows as thick as thieves with her. Over the summer he adds Robin to his friends as well. Meanwhile Eddie seems to have taken an interest in the fallen king, but Steve can’t figure out quite yet why Eddie is talking with him. Flirting with him?
AKA a rewrite from after season 2 till after season 4 where Chrissy survives and Steve and Eddie get together that explores Steve's fall to the bottom of the social ladder and the what if he was gay and knew.

Summary
The Squawk had become their cover, their communication hub, their war room. Robin did the actual broadcasts mostly playing music and reading pre-written community updates approved by the military presence in town, but the real purpose was the coded messages. Steve had helped her set up the whole system, spending hours figuring out how to get all the sound effects she wanted, taping things to walls and attempting to MacGyver random things around the station.
That was just who Steve was, but looking around the room now, Robin wondered more and more if anyone else actually saw that.

Tonight was movie night; every week on Friday night, the group of rescuers sat down on the couch in the bunker and watched a movie that one of them picked out. This week, it was Dani’s turn to choose the movie they watched, so she chose a romantic comedy called How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She kept on saying how it was one of the best movies made, and that they would love it. So when it was finally Friday, Cody had some high hopes.
Then the movie started; it’s not like Cody disliked the movie, but it really wasn’t his cup of tea. It’s just the two main characters lied to each other (they kept their real reasons for getting together from each other) and then fell in love? It confused him. How could they fall in love with each other if they did that?
