Summary
Hannibal looks up into Will's eyes and sees the surrounding chaos sinking into them like screams into a pillow. Will's calm expression is puzzling. Surely, with his empathy, the level of distress around them should short every circuit in his mind.
"Didn't you get the news? We're all about to die," Hannibal says.
"Oh, it doesn't matter, I die all the time."
--
After a home invasion gone awry, Hannibal Lecter finds himself dying and coming back to life so often it grows mundane. Mundane, that is, until he realizes he's not the only one.

Summary
"Punishment can be liberation for some," Hannibal says. "Especially those who feel they must atone for the pleasures they revel in."
"It never seemed to me that soft, beautiful things were meant for me," Will admits.
The look Hannibal fixes on him feels like a hand on Will's throat. Vexed. Incredulous. And then smouldering.
"Many things have changed for you as of late, Will. Perhaps this is one of them."
--
Hannibal eases Will into a life of decadence. He takes surprisingly little convincing.

Summary
“Have we chased the nightmares away?” Hannibal asks. Are you still with me? he doesn’t. But Will hears his silent question. The bed creaks as he turns onto his side, and Hannibal rolls over to face him.
“I was so cold for so long without you, Hannibal. And now that you’ve taken me out of stasis, it hurts like hell.” There’s a waver in Will's voice. Hannibal wonders if their new intimacy has shaken his foundations as profoundly as it has Hannibal's.
“Now that you’re letting yourself feel again, your wounds are exposed to the open air.”
Will rolls his eyes. “When the snow melts, you can see every dog turd from the whole winter out on the lawn."
"Such a beautiful mind you have," Hannibal says. He’s rewarded with an audible laugh, and a demure glance through thick eyelashes. “I’m right here, Will. I will help you adjust to the temperature.”
–
After evading the FBI, Will and Hannibal hole up in a cabin deep in a Pennsylvania forest to heal their wounds and their relationship. As winter melts into spring, another predator on the run turns up to find his usual safe house is occupied.

Summary
"Show me."
"What?"
Hannibal gestures to the coils of rope on the floor.
"Show me how you'd restrain a criminal."
There's a day's worth of stubble on Will's upper lip, highlighted by a glittering layer of sweat. He bites his bottom lip as he deliberates, then wets both with his tongue. It takes every thread of Hannibal's will not to squirm as he thinks about where he wants that tongue.
"Alright," Will finally says. He gestures somewhere behind Hannibal. "Grab that chair."

Summary
When he sees "unknown number" on the caller ID, he nearly doesn't pick up. All kinds of misguided people have been calling lately: People who are fans of the Chesapeake Ripper and are still convinced Will is guilty. People who are very much not fans of the Chesapeake Ripper and are still convinced he's guilty. A few lewd phone calls. More than a few.
But because he's too curious (and pathetic) for his own good, Will answers the phone.
At first he's greeted only by static on the other side. He's about to hang up when a woman's voice, delicate with a light drawl, says, "Is this Will Graham?"
He detects instability in this person immediately. What he doesn't detect is malice.
"Who is this?" Will says.
"I…I think I might be your mom?"
—
Will’s days post-BSHCI contain little more than chronic pain and the ghosts of broken friendships. There's not much to his existence other than caring for his dogs and taking his revenge against Hannibal Lecter.
But when Will’s estranged mother reaches out to him one night, his perspective starts to shift. And so do his feelings for Hannibal.

Summary
Cupid, careless or not, has struck him in the most vulnerable place: the soft underbelly he rarely acknowledges even to himself. The place where the ribs part just enough to admit a hand. Will puts his hand there sometimes when they lie together on his couch. He lets the hand remain where it lands, and he wonders whether Cupid is truly a reckless child or the intelligent, immortal god he has always been.

Summary
Up close, he’s lovely, immediately and strikingly. He’s out of place in his ripped black skinny jeans and a thrift-store windbreaker. He’s half a head shorter than Hannibal, but Hannibal suspects it’s mostly trans guy slump. His hair falls enticingly in dark brown waves framing his face, with full lips not quite consistent with his small features. He looks about nineteen years old, at most. Though he moves with some jerky shadow of a man’s confidence, he doesn’t pass, really. Hannibal wonders if he cares.

Summary
“Say it.” Will whispers, voice rough. “Say what you want from me.”
Hannibal lifts a hand and touches Will’s jaw with the back of his fingers—gentle, deliberate, claiming. Will trembles under the contact he pretends not to crave.
“What I want,” Hannibal murmurs, “is to see what you become when you stop resisting me.”

Summary
Renowned pastry chef Hannibal Lecter is known for his elaborate creations--and his exacting nature. His staff has bestowed upon him the nickname 'Cheesecake Ripper' as a result, a morbid play on words for the infamously artistic serial killer still on the loose.
Little do they know how accurate the nickname is.
When FBI profiler Will Graham stumbles into Hannibal's pastry shop entirely by chance, two worlds of precision, brutality, and beauty begin to collide.
