Tango had not actually been born from the center of a star, delivered to them by the outreaching tendrils of flames. He had only been born with a heart that ached and called for something they could not see nor understand.

Summary
He’s spoken to Cypher multiple times before about the nature of the agent’s work, how he wont specify his methods, how the ones he has shared have been… distasteful, to say the least. Cypher never seemed to take their discussions seriously, much to Sova’s displeasure. He would always laugh, purr out some answer along the lines of 'I do what it takes,' and sometimes throw in 'my friend' for added insult.
And now here he is, parked across Sova typing away, ensuring that the first thing the hunter sees upon waking is a reminder that the man he hates is the very man who saved his life. That those same hands Sova had fallen into are now, he can only assume, picking apart another person’s life.*****
After saving Sova’s life on a mission, Cypher begins to act like he and the hunter are friends. Sova, to nobody’s surprise, does not feel the same.

Iso thought that this mission would be no challenge. He trusted his teammate's abilities and had been proven over and over again how capable they were and of course he trusted his own strengths and the powers the First Light had granted him.
He was aware of what he was capable of and knew the consequences of using his ultimate ability to take out one of the final enemies. He would be alright after all, he knew how to deal with the side effects that came with using his powers and gaining an enormous advantage over his enemies in the dimension he created by having his senses go into overdrive. His vision, his hearing, the way he felt things in the dimension he created — he was a god in his own arena.
And back to earth again? He knew how to deal with losing that advantage and dealing with the temporary side effects of losing his vision and hearing.
Nothing could've prepared him for an accident due to which it wasn't him suffering those side effects — but Gekko.
Being the one who is most familiar with those side effects and how to deal with them he helps Gekko trough the day. While doing so he gets to know him better and maybe learns a few things about himself along the way.Series

Summary
If you would ask Yoru what he thought about Halloween, he would say that it was like Cheat Day. For humans in case of sugar and sweets, for monsters like him in case of souls.
But unlike humans, who dressed up on Halloween, monsters finally dropped their carefully crafted masks that allowed them to live among humans and got a chance to go out without hiding their marks, sharp fangs, tails, and even wings.
Yoru loved Halloween. It allowed him to feel careless and free. His jinn appearance was even a huge bonus on a night like this, promising him to feed on enough souls that would hopefully get his needs satisfied for quite some time.
It was a feast for everyone.
The best day ever. Minus it being 'trick or treat' for a reason.
Not only monsters came out on Halloween, but so did monster hunters.
In a way, it was quite ironic how the hunters became the hunted. Humans hunted for candy, monsters for humans and monster hunters for the said monsters. It felt like a natural circle of life on Halloween, so Yoru wasn't even surprised when he happened to run into a hunter. What he didn't expect though was for the hunter being immune to his magic and triggering a part of him he had sealed away.Bookmarked by Wolves_In_The_Woods
