The MSBY Black Jackals were vacationing on an island when lockdown measures were put in place due to a pandemic. While the rest of their teammates managed to get on the last flight back to Japan, Kiyoomi and Atsumu didn't make it.
To be stuck in close quarters with your enemy-slash-teammate in a foreign country for an indefinite period of time...it shouldn’t be too bad, right?
(Or: Due to an unfortunate series of events, Kiyoomi and Atsumu get stuck on an island together. For seven months.)

He’s not sure why this is the thing pushing him towards accepting it as truth, but he means it when he says it—means it, too, when he continues with, “It’s not my fault that it was hard for me to understand how I felt. It’s not my fault that I didn’t realize what it was until after you moved on. That’s not—that’s not my fault, Will.”

“Looks like I bit you.” Will tilts his head to get a better look. All Mike can do is stare at him. His fluffy hair at the front, clumped pieces at the back where he’d slid his fingers in a mere few minutes before. His pretty green eyes that look hazel or even brown in this light, the dark circles he gets when he drinks framing them like intricate paintings. A satisfied, bloody smile.
Mike isn’t satisfied. He swallows thickly, choking down the words 'don’t you want more?'
Or: Will dresses as a vampire for a college halloween party, but Mike thinks his costume isn’t bloody enough. Will lets him fix it. Mike goes into a crisis.

Mike hummed again. On screen, Luke rolled desperately away from the sand people.
Slowly, casually, he placed another kiss against Will’s throat, the skin visible around his collar, and pulled his shirt out of the way to trail them across his shoulder.
Mike had said that he would let Will draw, but he was so bored.

Ryuunosuke stiffened for a moment. “You can’t work around my clothes?”
“Ryuu, you’re wearing an overcoat. I can’t work around that.”
“Can you at least try to?” He asked, and the tone of voice almost made Atsushi want to. It made him want to give Ryuunosuke whatever he wanted.
Sliding forward, he hugged Ryuunosuke from behind. Wrapping his legs around the others waist and arms around his chest, he made sure not to press on the injury as he rested his chin on Ryuunosuke’s shoulder. “Is it because of the coat?”
“...partially.” He replied, leaning back into Atsushi’s hold instinctively. “It’s also… there’s a lot of scars.”
Or, Akutagawa comes home hurt, and Atsushi helps fix him up.

“It’s, eh-” Viktor shrugs. Tilts his chin this way and that. A tsk. “Bearable. I’ve endured worse hangovers in college.” he was going for a laugh, but the punchline never truly lands. Instead, Jayce’s thumb rubs softly into the back of his palm, pressing like he wants to idle the muscle mass into something new. It’s such a small thing, whatever this is, and yet it steadies the flow of his blood; the relief of loosening a valve, flicking off a pressure switch. It’s the necessary cracking-open of his breast. Jayce squeezes. Viktor allows himself the luxury of a sigh. “You shouldn’t be here.” he mutters.
Jayce reflexively shakes his head. “I took the day off.”
“We both know that’s-”
“—I could take the week.” he insists, almost a threat, a flicker of that eternal stubbornness coursing through him.
