Yin Yu rolled his eyes but there was no real malice behind it this time. Perhaps there never had been, not a malice toward his Shidi at least, just towards the world. He reached out a hand to pull at some of the bouncing brown curls, tugging them and watching them pop back into shape, revealing tangles underneath.
“I don’t like when other people touch it,” Quan Yizhen said.
Yin Yu pulled his hand away, confused.
“No, other people who aren’t Shixiong. It felt wrong when anyone else did it.”
The younger man’s eyes shone as he looked down at Yin Yu, glistening with earnest emotion. The sight felt like a punch to Yin Yu’s gut. It felt like warm sunshine on his skin.

He hits the angel’s left shoulder blade and Aziraphale yelps. Crowley panics.
“Shit, shit, shit, angel, I’m sorry–”, he keeps on murmuring, now holding Aziraphale’s waist with one hand and hovering the other on his shoulder, trying his best to soothe the pain even if he can’t heal the wound, not while he’s flustered and vibrating with excitement.
“Crowley”, Aziraphale says, infinitely gentle. It sounds like a question. “Did you just heal me?”, he asks, and he doesn’t sound upset – only confused.
Crowley pulls back and promptly deflates against the cushion.

Yes, they are alive. That hasn’t changed, no thanks to the two troublemaking fucks comprising half their little group, though there’d been a moment or two on and off the steamer when Wolfwood hadn’t been sure if they’d all made it after all.
But Vash pulled through, always does. Thank whatever it is in heaven that’s been ignoring Wolfwood the entirety of his short and miserable life. Come to think of it, Vash had really looked like the divine one, lined in light and eyes aglow. An angel on earth.

At first, the omega didn’t see the relation between both statements. But the moment it clicked, his cheeks instantly turned red, huffing and looking away.
“You’re such an idiot,” he let out. “Stop messing around.”

George blinked a few times, before huffing again, expecting him to laugh and say he was kidding. But he didn’t.
“So what? What does that mean?” He pressed. Because there’s no way the boy was actually suggesting that. “You would just, fuck me?”
“If that’s what you needed.” The alpha shrugged, as if the conversation was normal.
