Summary
After completing the Revelations story route with the help of her friend Lisa from the real world, Nicole Braun is no longer at risk of dying inside a video game inspired world. However, while Nikki can traverse freely between reality and the World of Fates as Aster, Lisa Patterson is left behind guarding the gateway between worlds while the rest of the world goes on with no memory of her best friend. Lonely and envious of Nikki's ideal happy ending, Lisa attempts to contact her friend through the strangely modded 3DS console, only to end up in a body she hates with no idea of how to go home.
Stuck with this strange new reality, Lisa makes her way to Nohr in the hopes of finding her friend Nikki and searching a way to get her original body back, encountering many familiar faces along the way- including the newly crowned King of Nohr, who appears more distressed than he ever had been during the war with Hoshido. Struggling to maintain the fragile peace between warring nations while juggling the bureaucracy and power struggles of noble politics and establishing the nation of New Valla, it will take everything to prevent the story of Fates from repeating itself.
