    Richie cherishes how Eddie takes his time looking his body over, tracing his fingertips down Richie’s arms, across his chest, smiling brightly back up at Riche when he takes Eddie’s small face in his hands. He wonders if this is always Eddie’s way of expressing just how much he loves Richie, when he can’t form the words to do so.

    It feels immensely more intimate than Richie can handle sometimes. He’s learned to settle in silence and get lost in the feeling of everything, but it scares him sometimes. Eddie always just looks so enamored and Richie doesn’t always feel so worthy of being this adored by anyone, let alone by someone so kindhearted and pure as Eddie.

    Yet, that’s the wonderful thing about Eddie; he somehow makes Richie feel like he does deserve it, so wholeheartedly.
