Summary
Basically just the Stanley Parable but in a semi-cohesive storyline, along with a few extra things - put in tastefully, of course.
The slowburn tag counts for 99% of the Story, apologies. :)

Summary
"And here it is. Go ahead and give it a shot."
Stanley's throat felt dry, despite the man never having talked in his entire life. This was too familiar, he knew he had experienced this before, and he hated it.He didn't listen to the Narrator's excessive rambles to annoy him into pushing the button, and instead sat down, tears forming.
"Here, we'll just pretend that I've just begun an interminable monolog-- Stanley?" The disembodied voice had softened, and Stanley found himself focusing on it.
OR, The author hates this ending- because of how terrifying/ sad it is- and rewrites it to be more nicer.

Summary
It was so loud and bright and everything was going too fast and it made him feel sick but he couldn’t actually feel sick because he wasn’t even in his body, and that meant that he couldn’t do anything about this and that knowledge just made it all worse.
But it couldn’t get any worse than this.
…Of course, it did.

Or, making the Infinite Hole ending angsty. Sorry.

Summary
"You... really aren't going to press it, are you?"
The silence stretched out, because of course it did. No matter how many times he tried, mocked, threw little tantrums, The Narrator never seemed to understand that Stanley simply wasn't going to speak.
(Or: Stanley, The Narrator, and The Skip Button. Funny thing what stubbornness can cause. Spoilers for Ultra Deluxe.)

Summary
“Stanley was fat and ugly and really, really stupid.”
The words rung in Stanley’s ears as though he were back in the broom closet, rather than sitting at his desk after yet another reset.
“Stanley was fat and ugly-”
Stanley looked down at his stomach, rolling up his shirt and pulling at the skin with his hands. Was he fat? He didn’t feel fat… Oh, god, he was fat, wasn’t he? Of course, he could see it now, as he held flabs of skin between his fingers. His eyes widened, his heart dropping.
Has he always been fat?
-
In which Stanley takes the Narrator’s comment to heart and starts trying to change his body image. The Narrator starts to get suspicious.

Summary
The Narrator went too far back from his nostalgia and now he's in the real world and doesn't remember anything except that he hated a guy once. Whoopsies.
Stanley is a character in the game, which exists in universe.
Updated Summary because the author has figured out the plot 15 chapters in:
Post Stanlurine Ending in which the Narrator nostalgias too hard into the real world and has trouble detaching himself from Stanley who is found to be a character in a game he made. He has found most of his memories have been forgotten as well, pardon the ones from the Parable and an extra select few. One of the memories lost, that his mind refuses to recover, is his name, causing him to desperately try to find out anything he can about himself and his past (sometimes. other times he just fucks around or deals with mental health idk)
He is also super gay for Stanley but he will never admit it you have to wait for the two year timeskip that is the sequel.Series

Summary
"Stanley, Stanley promise me you won't leave me like that again alright?" The Narrator was on the brink of tears, it was evident in the way his voice shook and he croaked his words from a dry throat. Stanley stared at the camera with a feeling of dread, he wanted to promise that to his Narrator, promise him he would never leave his side again, but he knew how unpredictable this game was.

Do you remember?
There was a pause. “Remember what?”
Any of it. All of it.
Everything we’ve
Stanley stiffened, then hit backspace a few times.
Everything I’ve done.
~•-•*•-•🚪•-•*•-•🚪•-•*•-•~
Stanley’s life is simple. Every day, he walks a path he’s walked before, towards the same end it always leads to, and nothing ever changes.
Until one day he learns something the Narrator doesn’t want him to know. Something that will change both of their worlds forever. Something that will set him on a hunt for something he never knew he needed to look for, and confront him with a truth he’d never thought was true:
His choices do matter. And some of them can only be made once.

Summary
It’s not that Stanley expected something to change. No, that would be ridiculous. Change was something Stanley rarely had the privilege of experiencing, and he had grown quite used to that fact. Living the same day over and over with very little variation for who-knows-how-long would certainly condition a person to expect nothing but the same routine, the same narrations, the same endings; sure Stanley was given choices, but he already knew where each one led. The choices were hardly his. Every outcome was dictated by the Narrator, and every path already lay before him, predetermined.
So no, Stanley didn’t expect anything to change. Why would he?
-
In which the Narrator and Stanley don't realise how much they need each other until the world keeps pulling them apart.
-
Or, my hyperfixation won and I decided to try and write a fic before I explode.
This is my first fic that I'm gonna actually try to write more than one chapter for so it's a learning experience, lower your expectations by a large margin. Enjoy! (or not, I won't tell you what to do.)

A study of body and mind by just_sharing_stories for reader

Summary
There is a fundamental difference between the consciousness of a person and the body of it. Of what we can observe and only speculate about.
While the body might be flourishing, excelling in many different ways, resting, sleeping, existing,
the mind may not be.
And while that might not seem obvious to anyone viewing it from the outside, the conclusion remains the same:
We are all doomed.
Wait what? I think I skipped a few steps–
Let me start a bit earlier. At a story, two men and a yellow button.
This is a story about a man named Stanley.-

Summary
The "New Content" truly couldn't have been more boring. While a "Jump Circle" may have a resemblance of fun for a Player, Stanley alone could jump and climb just fine. Truly he had expected more things -paths, choices, and endings. More game.
So he was glad when The Narrator showed him the Memory Zone. Even if it was all about the Game, at least it was new! Stanley couldn't wait to see if there may be a new path here, a new ending.
The Skip Button was unexpected, though Stanley firmly believed that The Narrator must have an ending in mind with it. They made the entire game, after all, so how would they not know what the button brings? -
