So, you’ll probably be fine.” That’s what the kid said after looking him up and down. Bakugous sour expression had the young girl grin and nod to herself, “Yupp. If it’s you, I’m certain you’ll be fine. Thank you Mr!“ Then she was off, running towards what he supposed was her family a little ways away. Nothing happened after that besides him finding a weird black circle below his bellybutton, so he had brushed it off as nothing and went on with his life.
Little did he know that such a quirk would make him experience something he never knew was possible.

“As Vox rushed out the door and shut it, Alastor dragged his hands over his face and up into his hair, pulling at it with a frustrated sigh. The sigh turned into an exasperated groan and he pressed the base of his palms against his eyes.
Stupid, stupid, romantic picture box.”
Trying to be a gentleman (Alastor likes those, right?) Vox keeps his hands to himself around his lover, even if it feels like he’s literally going to die from the aching want burning inside of him. Alastor just wants Vox to fuck him already, because this is starting to get rather frustrating.

She took his hand, “I believe anyone can be redeemed.” She meant it just as much as she did the first time.

Alastor kills Vox in their last fight. It ends exactly how everyone predicted: with Vox broken beyond repair. Years, if not decades, of regeneration ahead. Valentino and Velvette have one option: make a deal with the demon who put him in pieces. Alastor agrees to accelerate the process, but only under two itty bitty conditions:
Valentino has to let go of Angel.
And they have to leave Vox.They can bring Vox back to life. They just can't bring him home.

Vox plays mind games, Alastor knows this. Alastor knows these games so well he can predict and anticipate Vox exactly. Until he realizes he was never predicting Vox right at all. Vox strung him along like everyone else he ever knew and now Alastor has to face the truth that Vox was always acting. That the one person he thought he knew best had really been nothing more then a facade made to please him, Alastor will not stand for that. He finds the real Vox so much more pleasing now he has to help Vox find himself.
