Summary
Byakuya is well aware he is the ultimate perfection. He is much better than any of the poor excuses of “people” surrounding him. And so he believes he mustn’t waste his time, losing patience, and boringly explaining quite literally everything to their pea sized brains.
Now normally, he would have his butler, Pennyworth, do the talking. Somebody who knew his exact thought process, knew him, almost perfectly. But here in this wasteland of any associates or colleagues, there was no one who even remotely knew him, let alone have the intelligence to comprehend his divine perfection.
So, the moment he saw Chihiro’s body on the floor, he knew just what to do.
You could call it a fun test, to rat out any threats to his plan of eventually committing murder and maybe find a translator capable enough to help him talk to the subhuman apes in this “school”.

Togami takes a breath and gulps down his shot. Naegi sighs, but he mimics the action. The liquid tingles, but not much. He narrows his lips and frowns at Togami, who’s blinking quickly and a bit tightly, which has Naegi very, very curious.
“So,” he says, pushing the empty glass to the bartender, ready for a refill. “Do you really wanna play this game?”

“Yeah, no offense dude, but I don’t want to hear clapping at night, y'know? I know most of the infrastructure in France was rebuilt on a tight budget, so walls might be thin bro.” Hiro commented. Byakuya was surprised that Hiro had kept his job for this many years and he was even paying attention. Makoto blushed.
“N-no! We don’t do a lot of stuff like that. She…” Makoto looked down, trying to hide a frown. “She likes her space.” Byakuya raised an eyebrow, but said nothing.
