______________Vox is weak, depressed, and, oh yeah, kidnapped. Taken by a fellow, if minor, Overlord as an act of vengeance, he is locked in a dark web style Red Room and subjected to whatever twisted 'punishments' the denizens of hell want to give him- if they pay enough, that is. Valentino frantically tries to find him, and finds himself recruiting all forms of potential aid- including the most unwanted and unlikely ones. Old wounds crack open and bleed, new wounds struggle to heal, and through it all, the moral of the story is that people need people- no matter how much you want to deny it. Or that you're human at all, really.

Summary
A talk show, a parade, a diner, subjecting him to the least compelling show he had ever been forced to watch. Honestly, it was the most insipid ‘victory celebration’ Alastor could imagine. He had thought Vox would be more… bold. It was what he had come to expect from the picture box, right from the start. But instead, all he was doing was showing him off and showing off himself. Both things Alastor would have expected, but to stop there? Which brought him back to, what was holding him back?
Alastor looked back down at the fabric in his hands, and his smile inched a touch higher. Oh, he knew just how to find out.

Vox’s voice finally cracked, a single tear ran down his cheek. "As long as I wipe that smile off of Alastor's fucking face… I don't care what happens."
The cannon was meant to end everything. Instead, it sends Vox ten years into the future, into a world where he’s already won.
His empire thrives. His ambitions are fulfilled. He has everything he ever wanted.
And still, beneath the perfect happiness, something is cracking…The Vees have changed. He has changed.
Even the stupid smile he once pretended to hate… has changed.

Vox dragged a hand down his screen, groaning. “Come on, Velvette, tell me already! Why is Alastor living with you guys? Did I buy his soul? Is he under another contract? Did you threaten him? Am I holding his staff hostage and that’s why he’s cooperating at the company to get it back? Because I haven’t even seen his radio staff in this future… he isn’t even using his powers. What is it, woman?!”
Velvette was cracking up now, full villain laughter, shoulders shaking as she absolutely lived for it.

“Will you remember this when we stop?” Vox asks frantically.
Alastor’s eyebrows furrow, just for a second. “Do you want me to?”
“No!” Vox practically shouts, flailing his hands in front of himself, “Fuck, no, forget this. Don’t remember anything.”
“Okay,” Alastor says simply.
Vox blinks at him. He could… There are things he knows he’ll never hear out of Alastor’s mouth. Simple endearments, reassurances… Things no one has ever said to him.
Things Alastor would never say to him. Not of his own free will. It scares him to recognize what he’d give to hear them.
It’s pathetic, he knows, to use hypnosis to be told that he’s something worth cherishing. To have to use it, because he knows he’ll never hear it otherwise, and he can’t fucking stand it.
To want it all bad enough to do it anyway.

“You’re a fucking asshole,” Vox growled. But he took the bottle.

Summary
Vax—an ugly, uninspired name that has clearly crushed him under the weight of his progenitors combined egos and expectations—is sitting in one of the armchairs and muttering furiously to himself. Occasionally two of his arms twitch in an unconscious, violent gesture before returning to fist the crumpled fabric at his knees. The boy is, as Angel has whispered cruelly under his breath on more than one occasion, ‘fucked in the head’.
Of course they’d considered the possibility that he might be a spy—for all of about five minutes, that is, by which time it had quickly become apparent that the boy is…well—simultaneously unstable, pathologically incapable of telling a convincing lie, in possession of a hatred for Vox that dwarfs any animosity even Alastor himself has ever felt for the man, and most delightfully suffers from a cavernous lack of self-esteem.
And with it, naturally, a deep seated, violently desperate need for recognition and approval!
Vax comes to stay at the hotel, and Alastor scents blood in the water.

For a moment Vox was terrified his cathode-ray skull had betrayed him—flashing a whole vaudeville reel of everything he wanted, every filthy little way he’d force Alastor to moan his name. And then Alastor leaned in and booped his nonexistent nose, fingertip hot against the cold glass. “Here I am, drinking quite heartily all on my own,” Alastor chuckled, “and you, ever the gentleman, keeping yourself sober on my account. How gallant of you.”

Summary
Vox loses a bet to Alastor so Alastor humiliates him by forcing him to wear a dress for a night. He mocks and laughs and even takes pictures. It’s all just good natured fun teasing his friend, right? It’s just for laughs, right? Maybe not.
It starts off as a comedy/ humor fic but then has a weird twist. Set when Alastor and Vox were still friends, though the vibe is more like they’re close friends who are kind of assholes to each other.
StaticSilence (Vox doesn’t reject Alastor, he just doesn’t know Alastor’s secret shame.) Mind the tags.
