"Already?" Charlie asks as she looks up from her clipboard. "It's early for lunch, isn't it?"
One of Husk's friends- bird-shaped and crooked beak, with a strange set of rabbit-like ears. One of said ears flick to the side, hearing her voice. She's catches sight of Vaggi and stares, the rise and fall of her chest picking up in speed.
No, the problem wasn't Husk having friends. It was that one of them was clearly terrified of her.
"Already," Vaggi agrees, leading her away. "The hotel can handle itself for five minutes." Probably not. Hopefully? Vaggi thinks maybe it doesn't matter; that she can just clean up the mess later, and she probably deserves it or something. "Have you met that bird demon Husk keeps bringing around?"
"Milagrosa? Yeah, of course. She's a real sweetheart." Charlie halts and looks over her shoulder. Vaggi chews nervously on her lip as her girlfriend connects a few dots. "Are you... avoiding her?"
"I'm giving her space," she says, if only to get her moving, but it's not working so she's left to feebly tug at her arm. "It's not a big deal, Charlie. I just get the vibe she's not... comfortable. Around me."
