Fate had once again brought Koushuu to Eijun. Just when he thought he could let Eijun go and not care, he was unknowingly following him. Koushuu shouldn’t be allowed to love anyone this much.
He shouldn’t be so drawn to someone he had never met and seen pitch once, but with just one single outside fastball, Eijun had wrapped his heart in kudzu vines. His love growing more and more for Eijun each day, like the vines. Only it wasn’t killing him like kudzu vines did to so many ecosystems, no instead Eijun was pulling him in and feeding him bowls light and hope.

The lights in Electric glow faint orange, flickering every few seconds. Eijun hears Okumura shifting behind him, but as he looks at the shadow projected ahead of him, it’s all wrong. It writhes and wriggles, too many limbs for one human spreading across the room. They move like tentacles, curling and expanding outwards. From Okumura’s main body, Eijun swears he sees a glint of bright light, dim bulbs reflecting off metal, Okumura’s arm raising a knife in the air—
He spins around.
Expressionless, Okumura holds the knife out to him. “You might need this for the blue wire.”
There are imposters aboard the Seidou, hiding amongst the crew as they hunt them down one by one. It's a good thing that Sawamura Eijun has quiet new crewmate Okumura Koushuu to keep him company as they do their tasks alone together, right?
