Summary
Since when, exactly, did an eternal being have a birthday? Since Lucifer's daughter had simply decided he had one, apparently. Now Alastor must come up with a gift at the last minute. It would've been nice if Charlie had said anything to him about it before the day of.
He's definitely got an idea brewing, though, as the day goes on. He just needs to figure out how to enact it.

A minor epidemic is going around Pentagram City from one of the other Rings, getting the weakest of the sinners sick with cold symptoms like they would’ve experienced when they were still alive. Nothing that anybody at the Hotel needed to worry about, though; after all, Alastor wasn’t weak, his staff was just a little broken, there’s a difference.
When he was proven wrong, his new relationship with the King of Hell proves to be just as strong of a bond as he had with his dear maman. Love isn’t just in the things we say, but the care we show.

Alastor's life is good. His true crime podcast does well enough to support him, and if there isn't any interesting murders available, he can always change that. But he knows his luck won't hold forever, so he decides to make a deal with the devil. Unfortunately for him, the spell he found was mis-transcribed, and instead of sending the demon home after making their deal, he instead binds him to Earth, trapped in a human body and nearly powerless. He'll be able to send him home, eventually, but for now he's stuck with a roommate who doesn't know how to turn the shower on and sings while he makes pancakes. It's going to be a long couple of months...

Alastor’s ear twitched. In a blur of motion, his own hand shot up, fingers clamping around the clone's wrist with an iron grip. His head whipped around, eyes blazing crimson, static spiking sharp enough to make the lights flicker.
“What in the seven rings do you think you’re—!”
The clone vanished in a puff of red sparkles.
Alastor blinked at empty air.
And then two very real, very warm hands slid enthusiastically behind both of his ears.
“Gotcha.”
Alastor’s entire body went rigid for one glorious heartbeat.
Then it melted.
A loud, rumbling deer mew burst out of him, his eyes flew wide, then fluttered half-closed in instant bliss. The book slipped from limp fingers and landed with a soft thud on the carpet. His head unconsciously fell back against the couch cushion, pressing eagerly into Lucifer’s hands.

Alastor has been more annoyed than the usual lately, which causes concern among the residents. After discovering the problem, another one arises, as no one would dare touch Alastor's ears and risk losing a limb. Thankfully, there's only one person who can touch Alastor without dying immediately.

In my defense, Lucifer gave me free will—and I grabbed it, bolted, and wrote this entire unhinged piece. We only have six episodes of Season 2 so far, and this fic picks up right after Episode 6.
Will it actually happen like this in the show? I would scream if yes, but probably not.But hey, let a girlie dream.

Enter a few days before Christmas. A depressed man meets a lonely one. Instead of camaraderie, they find an enemy.

The Hazbin Hotel is in the grip of the holiday spirit, leaving its guests full of cheer and excitement. Though the other residents are reveling in the Sinsmas–or is it Christmas?–festivities, and Alastor finds that Lucifer has come down with a case of the holiday blues.
This is the first time in over a decade that Lucifer has celebrated the holiday season with his daughter, and he wants nothing more than for the festivities to be perfect. However, Lucifer’s reluctance to reveal certain secrets to his daughter has put a strain on his relationship with both Alastor and Charlie.
Sometimes hard truths must come out to mend what has been broken, something Alastor is determined to make Lucifer see before their first Sinsmas together is ruined beyond repair. He can only hope Lucifer sees the light before it is too late.
